whole again

My pain dissolves in your warm light,
With you, a new self takes flight.
Sleep finds me, laughter too,
A reason to smile, thinking of you.

At day's end, my heart beats fast,
Anticipating our love to last.
In your eyes, my soul revives,
Feeling whole, our love survives.

Your touch ignites a gentle fire,
Hands on your spine, my heart's desire.
I peer up, lost in your gaze,
Whole again, in love's sweet haze.

With you, my world's reborn,
A refuge from life's thorns.
I find solace, peace, and rest,
In your love, my heart is blessed.

You are my haven, my guiding star,
My pain fades near you, afar.
I'm renewed, revitalized, and free,
Whole again, loving you, with thee.
