People always assumed they know me as soon as they hear Riddle. villain.troublemaker.Destined for darkness. They're not wrong. I'm no saint. I am darkness. It's in my blood and its power. Actual power not one with limits. I recall my first prank often Ron was such a wuss and I had detention and I remember Lily Meadow looking terrified for Ron. The way she went and hugged him trying to shield him from my wrath was pitiful. I never understood why she didn't look fat me with loud fear she looked at me with a hint of fear in her eyes like she thought there was more to me.

She is wrong. Dead wrong.

If she kept trying to see more the darkness will suck her in. They paired me with her for a reason they hoped her light will suck all the darkness out of me. Lily Meadow was basically the definition of the girl next door. Even her looks. I observe every detail of her face from the door way of the library where she was waiting for me.She tucked her long blonde hair behind her ear. "Evening, blondie" I said sitting in front of her. She looked up at me ignoring my nick name. "Hi" she said "let's talk about strategy.Lupin said we should combine strength and weaknesses, what spell should we start with?" she asked. "This is boring" I replied, she glanced up from her book. "The more we practice the sooner we will get this done" Lily said. I could be pranking a first year right now but I am stuck here in this library with Lily Meadow. "You really are boring, aren't you?" I said, my voice low and teasing. "Don't you ever just... live a little?" I leaned forward. "I do live but you probably mean dark magic and I would never use it" She said.

After awhile Lily gave up and did most of the work. Lily muttered something about how She wasn't interested in failing. She looked stressed and irritated "Fine I'll help" I said. Lily smiled a little and quietly nodded giving me a piece of paper with notes already written down. "You can start with these, if we divide spells it'll go faster" She explained. She sat up and put her blonde locks in a low pony tail.

I looked down at the she gave me her hand writing was perfectly neat and small. "You already did half the work" I muttered. "I was under the impression that you weren't gonna be participating" She said not even look up from the note book she was writing in. I exhaled "You're too uptight about this" I said. She stopped writing and looked up at me shooting me a calm but intense look "And you're way too relaxed" she countered. "Turns out Blondie had a sharp tongue" Lily ignored my comment and went back to her note book. I can't understand why I couldn't get a rise out of her. I put my elbow on the table closely observing her as she wrote. Her face was calm, she hadn't notice me yet. "I don't get you" I said breaking the silence. She let out a sigh before putting her pencil down. "What do you mean?" she asked, her tone even. "Most people who get mad at me or get scared but you just get annoyed" I said. "Anger doesn't change anything" she replied calmly closing her notebook. "Most people fear you because you give them a reason to fear you" She added. Lily Meadow was a puzzle. "We'll pick back up at this tomorrow" she said gathering her things. "Goodbye" she said waving and leaving.

Lily Meadow. Not afraid.

Theo and I walked outside before lighting our cigarettes. "It was so fucking weird" I said blowing out smoke. "She only got mildly annoyed at me but she was mainly calm" Theo nodded at what I said. "Well you've been tormenting her friends for years maybe she has learned not be scared?" Theo said. "Why haven't you tormented her before anyway?" He asked. "I don't know I wasn't really focused on her before" I replied. "So you're finally notching her now?" Theo asked taking a drag of his cigarette. "I guess so" I said "She's always just been there and running to her friends to comfort them after i got in trouble" I said. "She never looked at me terrified before she only looked terrified for her friends" I added. "I don't get why she doesn't get angry" I said. "You've been messing with her friends for years she probably sees it as your problem not hers" Theo took another drag of his cigarette. "I'm gonna make her mad or at least make her cry" I said.

I blew out some more smoke. Lilys calm face was in my mind. Maybe I could make her cry from a small animal dying she seems like someone who'd cry over a dead animal or maybe a sad movie.I flicked my cigarette, watching the ember fall.Lily Meadow you will get angry at me or at least cry. "You're wasting your time, mate . But go ahead. It'll be entertaining to watch" Theo said dropping his cigarette and stomping on it.
"You think anyone will miss us once we're gone?" Theo asked. I let out a chuckle "Probably not they'd probably celebrate us leaving though" I said.  "Or they'll miss us I mean who else would keep them on their toes?" I added. "Will you miss hogwarts?" Theo asked I shook my head. "I have nothing to miss" I said."No one important and our gang will be in contact after hogwarts"  I added.

Theo nodded "We better go in before we get caught" Theo said and we both walked. I have to meet up with Lily tomorrow but before that i'm gonna get her angry at me. Let's see If Ron can handle a much eviler spell on him. I wasn't gonna hurt him I was gonna almost hurt him.
