FUSION

Chapter: 29

Lightning flashes as a bolt shoots down onto the ground of a planet blowing dirt out and briefly illuminating the ground in a flash. Smoke arises as Sam walks out tears falling from his eyes.

As he walks in the large clearing his eyes widen. A presence filled the air. Sam looks up as a blaze descends from the sky. He swiftly moves out of the way as the inferno smashes into the ground.

Red: "I swear if you don't tell me what happened to my brother I'll kill you!" Red says as he emerges from the flaming crater, his eyes lock on and smoke breezes from his mouth like a lit furnace. Sam wipes his tears and turns to face Red. In a flash Sam throws his blade, forcing Red to dodge. But this is exactly what Sam expected.
Sam: "Travel." Sam disappears and a bolt of lightning trails behind Red as Sam appears behind him and kicks him in the back sending him flying toward a tree, Red hits it with a thud and grunts. Red: "Why are you fighting me?!" Red cry's out as he arises from the ground. Sam stares at him with no response. Red: "Did you... kill him..." Red says as his fists and feet ignite to such a degree that the grass and trees around him start to be set ablaze.
Red: "Why do you have my brothers bandages around your face?!" Red yells out. The ground begins to melt under Reds feet as he grits his teeth.

Red then charges at Sam and swings but Sam dodges and sweeps Red's legs out from under him. As Red falls he slams his hand on the ground and hand stand kicks Sam across the face while also burning him slightly. Sam backs up as his hands and feet glow a golden aura, he runs towards Red.

Red: "Well would you look at that someone mastered their Tenchi art!"

(A reminder for the reader, Tenchi art is when someone in this series combines they're Tenchi abilities with one or multiple martial arts to make a hand to hand combat style that fits they're Tenchi's abilities. It is designed for hand to hand combat exclusively.)

Sam roundhouses Red across the face and as soon as the foot he hit Red with hits the floor he spins around into a spinning hook kick. Red grabs the second incoming kick and throws Sam into a mountain, destroying trees and blowing up smoke from debris and the impact.  The thunder breaker flys out to Reds side as Sam appears with it just as fast with a bolt of lightning trialing behind. Sam picks up his blade and gets into a sprint and throw the sword in the air and throws punches at Red. Red dodges and deflects them all. Sam then gets in a hand stand as his blade begins falling to the ground the tip aimed at Red, and kicks the hilt of it slicing Red across the left side of his Cheek.

Red: "I barely dodged that, if that were any closer I'd have a new way of brushing my teeth." Red thinks to himself.

Sam quickly sits up and front kicks Red into a tree. Red slouches down and a leans his head back.

Red: "Please just talk to me man... please." Red says as a tear stream down his right cheek.

Sam falls to his knees and breathes heavily. "It's hard to breathe... it's hard to stand... I'm not anywhere near this weak, neither should he be this easy to take care of... so what is that is restraining us?" Sam thinks to himself.

A tear creeps out of Sam's eye and Red takes notice. "Did you or did you not kill him." Red says with a concerned expression.

Sam: "The day he left it was to sabotage the Kamui base, he wanted to get revenge, and then we... We did something stupid! We were surrounded by Ushins... I was to weak, I COULDN'T DO ANYTHING!!! HE SACRIFICED HIMSELF FOR ME!!!" He yells out as he slams his fists into the ground, cracking it. Tears fall into the grass bellow as his eyes are wide open with stress, sorrow, and Fatigue.

Tears stream down Reds face as he rises up and goes to punch Sam across the face but stops as he gets up to him. Red sighs and grabs Sam by the collar and jumps into the air onto a cliff.
