I was sitting in a beautiful meadow on a blanket with a wicker picnic basket by my side. There
were two glasses of champagne, but I was the only one sitting there. Then she comes into view. Or at least I think it was a she. To be honest, I wasn't really sure. Just a person sitting by my side, laughing, smiling, and I'm also guessing, the love of my life. But I can't see her face. Her entire body is just a big blur and all I know is that she's the one for me. She gazes into my eyes as she slowly leans in, our foreheads touching, and our lips are almost....

"Ughhhh... Damn it," I wake up to the sound of my annoying alarm, ending my dream too soon once more. I have been having this same dream for about two weeks now, and every time I sleep, the dream gets just a little longer. This time, we were finally about to kiss! But no, my goddamn alarm clock just had to come around and ruin everything.

I hear my brothers Michael and Lucifer argue over whose turn it is to use the bathroom. I chuckle and roll my eyes at their stupidity, thankful that I have my own bathroom.

My brothers can be the most adorable, sweet, pieces of garbage sometimes. Lucifer and Michael are twins; 15 year old sophomores who are annoying as hell, but mostly harmless. Balthazar, 16, is going to be a junior this year. Raphael and Uriel are another set of twins, but they're in 7th grade and 12 years old. Hannah was adopted by my family when she was only a little girl, but she's my family as much as my brothers are. She and I are the same age, and the best of friends. And then there's Gabe, short for Gabriel. He is such a prankster and he's such a little shit. He's the youngest of all of us, he's 14 and he's gonna be a freshman this year. He annoys the crap out of everyone, and he's the only one who can actually make Mom lose her temper. We live in a really big house in Lawrence, Kansas. It's an okay life here: I'm not popular, but I don't get bullied. What more could I ask for?

About a minute later, I start getting ready for school. I brush my teeth, and I just stare at myself in my bathroom mirror. My body frame isn't that built, in other words, I am kind of skinny. But this summer I've begun to work out a bit, and it's starting to show. Awesome, I thought to myself. Now I'm ready to face senior year.

Dean
I'm violently shaken awake by my little brother Sam yelling out my name. "Sammy, it's too... HOLY SHIT WHY DIDN'T YOU WAKE ME UP EARLIER DAMN IT SAMMY IM GOING TO BE LATE ON MY FIRST DAY!! Goddamnit Sammy." He gets off of me and I roll off my bed, brush my teeth and shower in an urgent hurry, because there's no way I'm going to be late.

My dad, John, he's never home much and we have to constantly keep shifting homes because of his job; the one he never tells us about. It's usually just me and my little brother, Sam. He's going to be a freshman this year, so at least I don't have to drive him to a separate school everyday; he'll just go to mine. I throw on a pair of jeans, a black t-shirt, and a pair or combat boots. I grab my backpack and a pop tart and walk towards my baby, a black '67 Chevy Impala. Oh, she's the sweetest ride to ever have been made.

"SAMMY GET YOUR ASS IN THE CAR WE'RE GOING TO BE LATE!"

"Coming Dean!"

Sam gets in and we start our drive towards school.

I throw on a pair of pants, a fresh, crisp white button down shirt, a pair of sneakers, and my favorite tan trench coat. I know it's hot outside, but the coat has sentimental value so I wear it anyways. After I'm ready, I hurry downstairs, rush to the pantry, grab a cereal bar and my keys and run out the door. I hear my mom yelling from inside the house, "CASTIEL NOVAK COME BACK HERE AND EAT YOUR BREAKFAST!" I chuckle to myself as I get in the car and begin my drive to school.
