Cameron stood at the foot of the stairs leading up to the Slymar Detention Center, her heart beating in her chest. She wasn't expecting this. The usual arguments were nothing new, but the way Johnny Lawrence and Daniel LaRusso were standing there, exchanging heated words about karate, Robby, and past mistakes, made her feel like she had stepped into the middle of a storm. The tension in the air was thick, and she felt an urge to roll her eyes before they even noticed her presence.

Cameron hesitated for a moment, hearing Johnny's familiar taunts. "Noodle Arms," he said, his voice carrying the same mocking tone that had been a staple in their interactions for years. It was an old nickname, one that always seemed to get under her skin. Her arms weren't noodly, but Johnny wasn't the type to ever miss an opportunity for a jab. Cameron scoffed under her breath, shaking her head as she took the final steps up the stairs.

"Seriously? I leave you guys alone for five minutes, and you're already about to strangle each other over karate?" Cameron's voice rang out, louder than she'd intended, cutting through the conversation and immediately grabbing their attention. She was tired of the constant back-and-forth. As much as they pretended to care about each other, it always ended in this-the same arguments, the same issues, never resolving anything.

Daniel's face softened at the sound of his daughter's voice. "Cameron?" he said, his voice a mix of surprise and concern. He seemed to forget about Johnny momentarily as he stepped toward her, his hands slightly raised in an attempt at peace.

"Yeah, it's me," Cameron responded dryly, crossing her arms over her chest. The anger from their past still lingered in her, but there was something more pressing on her mind right now-something that had driven her all the way to the detention center: Robby. "Can you guys go one week without fighting? Seriously."

Johnny, not missing a beat, raised his eyebrows. "Well, if it isn't the 'noodle arms' herself. How's it going, kid?" His tone was playful, but there was no mistaking the underlying disdain. Johnny never did well with change, especially when it came to her. Their relationship had always been rocky, and this moment was no different.

Cameron wasn't in the mood for small talk. She snapped back at him with all the frustration she had bottled up over the years. "I'm here for Robby, not for you to make fun of me," she said bluntly, pointing a finger at Daniel. "And I'll remind you, it was you who kicked me out for being in Cobra Kai. I haven't forgotten that."

Daniel flinched at her words, guilt flashing across his face. Johnny snickered at Daniel's discomfort, clearly enjoying the tension between them. "Way to go, LaRusso," Johnny muttered with a smirk, but Cameron wasn't about to let him off the hook.
