Ready, Set, Touchdown….For Love?!

Darren’s POV

“Ready, set, hut!” As I throw the ball to one of my players, I look over to my right and watch as Eric tackles the huge player in front of him. Damn.

“Darren! Watch out!” I hear someone yell at me and I look up right as another player is running towards me with great speed. I dash to the left and catch the flying ball. It lands right in my arms.

As I run down the field, I can feel the other guys gaining on me. I turn my head behind me for a second and I see Eric hot on my trail, heading straight for the huge monster player right next to me.

My eyes widen and right as I go to score, I can feel the ground shake beside me. I look to see Eric with a smirk on his face.

“I told you that you gotta watch your ass.” He winks and then the crowd goes wild. I look down to see that I have in fact scored. Well damn! I didn’t even realize it. I’m too busy looking at the asshole beside me.

“Hey asshole!”

I watch as Eric turns around and looks at me with a cocky smile on his face. His helmet is now in his right hand and he is running his left through his hair.

“What butt munch?”

“When are you ever going to quit talking about my ass? I mean, really, just give it up. It’s not like you’ll ever get any of it.” I wiggle my eyebrows and let out a laugh. This is our thing. We pull jokes on each other constantly, but they always seem to be about our sexuality and asses, and everything close to it.

I have been questioning my sexuality for awhile now. I find myself wanting to be with Eric in every way possible but I also like girls too, only a few of them though. I know for a fact that I am attracted to Eric in almost every way possible, even though he is a cocky asshole. Oh well. I am too so I’m not complaining.

“Good job men! Now all you have to do is win Friday’s game and the championship is ours!” Our team begins to jump and cheer as coach finishes and pushes us off into the locker rooms.
