JARED's POV

To say that my crush on Paul was little would be an understatement. I am completely infatuated with that boy. Everything about him just gets to me. From his sexy and all the way to his cute smile. He wouldn't get any better, well, besides one problem; he's oblivious to my feelings.

That boy is as dense as a rock. It's like he just doesn't seem to get the obvious warning signs. I mean, it's not like I hide the fact that I'm gay at all or that I like him. You could hit on that boy and he wouldn't even realize that it was flirting. Like I said, dense.

This all leads me to think that I should do something about it though. He needs to realize that someone other than his father does in fact care about him.

"Hey Jared, wanna go for a run?" His voice suddenly goes through my ears and I find myself grinning. I look up from where I was standing outside and shrug my shoulders.

"Sure. Lets go." He grins and strips from his shirt and shorts, leaving him in just his boxers. I find myself staring and imagining myself licking every contour of his body. I can see him moaning my name as I take him into my-"

"Dude, drool much?" I snap out of it to see him now standing in front of me, smirking. I shake my head and wipe my lip, too late to realize that I hadn't had drool at all. He was just shitting me.

"Whatever. Lets go." I strip my shorts off and in a flash we both morph into our giant power animals.

As we take off down the beach, I find myself trailing behind, just watching him as he runs. It's almost elegant like in a way. His movements are so clean and fast that you almost can't tell how much of a klutz he is in real life.

I shake my head and push myself to move faster. I run past him and then I hear him in my head.

"Last one to the cliff is a loser." I grin and will myself to go faster. He catches up to me quickly, but I won't let him win. He doesn't need to beat me at everything.

We reach the cliff pretty fast and I find myself there right at the same moment as him. We both morph back into ourselves and collapse onto the cool rock, not caring about the fact that both of us are stark naked.

I hear his breathing slow down a little before he sighs and sits up.

"What now then?" I lean up too and shrug my shoulders.

"Well the loser was gonna have to jump in, but I guess we both have to now since we tied." I nod slowly and bite my lip, not liking the idea of joking from so far up.

He must see my hesitation because he stands up and pulls me with him, grasping my hand in his. I don't let myself get carried away with thoughts though. This means nothing. He is just being a good friend.

"On 3?", he questions. I nod and we both step forward.

"1...2...3" We both count out at the same time and then I feel myself free falling. The air rushes from my lungs and I gasp as I hit the water.

It's a good thing that us werewolves are hit bodied otherwise this wouldn't feel so good. I already know that the water can't be any warmer than like 65 degrees.

My head pops out of the water just as Paul does. He grins at me and flips the water from his face. I find myself lost in his eyes, not caring about the fact that I probably look like some staring creep. I just don't care though. In that moment I realize that this is more than a crush. I actually love this boy.

"I love him." I find the words escaping my lips before I can even stop them. I gasp and throw my hand over my mouth. I hear him chuckle and then he smiles.

"Crap, I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to say that!"

Good job idiot. Now you surely scared him away.

Instead of him swimming away from me though, he pulls me close to him and smiles.

"Took you long enough to admit it." I stare at him oddly before I even realize that his face is getting closer to mine. I close the distance quickly however and smash his lips to mine.

He gasps and I pull him closer to me, then realizing that I finally got my wish.
