Part 2

At the door stands a now upset looking Andrea. I hop up off of Brandon real quick and sit on the edge of the bed and twiddle my thumbs.

"What the heck Brandon? I thought we agreed that I got her first?” I do a double take and look at her to see her now smiling.

“We did but I didn’t listen.” Brandon sticks his tongue out at her and she just rolls her eyes and heads over to his desk and takes a seat.

“Um, do you mind telling me what the hell you two are talking about?” I question them as I sit with my arms now crossed over my chest and my hair falling into my face.

“Go ahead Andrea. It’s your turn to spill some stuff now.” Brandon grins and says. 

“Fine.” I watch her as she takes a deep breath and pulls her legs up and underneath herself. “Brandon and I kind of made a deal awhile back that if either of us got a chance to make a move on you then I would get first dibs. Oh god, I have a lot to tell you Ari.” She says my nickname like Brandon did and I can feel my heart soar. I sit there just staring at her intently.

“I never wanted anything to happen like it all did last year. When I left that summer all I had wanted to do was come back home and be with you, but my mother wouldn’t have that. She said that I was a disgrace to her and that things needed to change. She made me over exert myself doing stuff, work out, and I had to throw up any food that I ate except for fruit and vegetables. That summer was pure hell for me. My mother had also told me that and I quote ‘no daughter of mine will hang out with a little nerd. You are to be a cheerleader and keep the family tradition alive. No more friends’. I threw a fit but she didn’t want to hear it, so when I returned I had to ignore you. It killed me so I moved on to Brandon so that I could find a good friend. He had told me right away about his love for you and I admitted mine. All of the dating is just a cover up for my whore of a mother. I have wanted to tell you for so long Ari, but I couldn’t. I was actually really happy earlier when Mrs. C put us three together. It was like destined or something.” She finishes with a sigh and a shrug of her shoulders. 

I let out a breath that I didn’t even notice I was holding and smile at her and then at Brandon. He grins back and takes my hand in his, kissing the top of it and then rubbing my back.

“Thank you for telling me. Deep down I always knew that something was up but I just ignored it. I figured that you were done with me so I gave up, on everything. As you both already know. The black just seemed to make me less wanted and that’s what I had wanted. If only I had known about the two of you.” They both let out a laugh at the end and Brandon looks at me and says,

“I miss the old Ari. I love you either way though.” I nod and grin as Andrea too nods her head.

“If that’s what you want then you will have the old me. Give me a minute.” I stand up and grab my bag off of the floor. I almost laugh to myself as I rush off to the bathroom, leaving both of them clueless.

I had ended up putting some of my normal clothes into my backpack before I left the house. I had to no clue what to expect in coming here but hey, my dream is coming true right now.

I strip from my clothes and change into jean shorts and an aeropostale shirt. Turning on the hot water, I look around for a wash cloth and towel. I find them under the sink and then run the washcloth in the water. My dark makeup wipes away in an instant and it feels good not having makeup on for once. Next is my hair. Another drastic thing that I did was change my hair from light brown to black. The truth is that I actually wear a black wig. I wanted to make a complete change but not lose myself completely.
