A few weeks has passed In the butterfly mansion.
Tanjiro is sitting down on the backyard of the butterfly mansion while watching Zenitsu and Inosuke training hard so they can get stronger and Tanjiro has a small smile on his face and then he heard a familiar voice behind him.
Rengoku: Young-Tsugikuni!
Tanjiro turn his head around to see Rengoku looking at him with a smile and he has a Bandage on his left eye and on his body too and Rengoku is holding a crutches on his right arm.
Tanjiro: Rengoku-san how's your injuries?
Rengoku: It's getting Heald now! But it's still pretty hurts!
Rengoku then laughs and Tanjiro smiled at him.
Tanjiro: Why don't you take a seat next to me?
Tanjiro patted down on his left side and Rengoku sat down next to him and they begin to watch Zenitsu and Inosuke.
Rengoku: They have a lot of potential aren't they?
Tanjiro: Yes your right they have.
Rengoku: Oh! Almost forgot! We will have a Hashira meeting later at noon!
Tanjiro: Hm I see thanks for telling me, and is it about our mission?
Rengoku: Yes I think so!
Tanjiro looks at him and nods.
Rengoku: Young-Tsugikuni can i you something?
Tanjiro: Sure what is it?
Rengoku: When was your birthday?
Tanjiro: My birthday? Hmmm July 14 why?
Rengoku: Oh I just wanted to know.
Tanjiro: Mm-mm.
Rengoku: Tanjiro... Why did you become a Demon Slayer?
Tanjiro looks at him.
Tanjiro: I became a Demon Slayer because i want to end Muzan's Terror and protect those innocent people from those Demons, And I don't want those people to experience the same faith that happen to me after all... Muzan killed my family.
Rengoku: Oh I'm sorry.
Tanjiro: No it's alright.
(TIME SKIP)
It's already noon and Rengoku and Tanjiro are on their way to the Ubuyashiki estate as they both walk they heard a shout.
???: Rengoku-san!!
They turn around to see non other then Mitsuri who has a very worried face and rushes to Rengoku.
Mitsuri: Rengoku-san are you okay!? When I found out you two fought a Uppermoon I got worried!
Rengoku chuckles.
Rengoku: I'm okay just needed some time to heal my injuries and I'll be back on duty!
Mitsuri: Oh Good to know!
Rengoku: And I'm probably dead today if it weren't for Tanjiro saving me! hahahahahaha!
Mitsuri looks at Tanjiro and then hugs him.
Mitsuri: Tanjiro-kun! Thank you for saving Rengoku-san!
Tanjiro: It's nothing. And we better go now.
Both of them: Hai!
The Three of them begin to walk on their way to the Ubuyashiki estate and after a few minutes they finally arrive and went inside to see Gyomei there and the rest of the Hashira's.
