The journey to Leones was long and arduous, spanning three days, but at last, Hope and her entourage, along with her dragons, arrived at the shores of the kingdom. As the ship docked, Hope gazed upon her new home—Leones, a land of power and history, but also one marked by the shadows of her future husband's past.

King Henry of Leones had a reputation that preceded him, and it was not a pleasant one. His seven marriages were the talk of the realms, each one leaving a trail of misfortune. His first wife had been cast aside and sentenced to a convent, their union ending in bitterness. The second had met a far darker fate—beheaded for reasons unknown to most, but whispered about by the common folk. His third wife had died in childbirth, leaving him to mourn, but not for long. The fourth wife had been another divorce, though this one had escaped the clutches of the king's wrath and found happiness elsewhere. The fifth met the same gruesome fate as the second, beheaded in a cold act of retribution. His sixth wife, like his third, had died in childbirth, another tragic loss in a string of misfortunes.

And then there was his seventh wife—the one who had spent years behind bars, imprisoned in a tower by her husband's command. Some said she had crossed him, others whispered that she had simply outlived her usefulness. Whatever the truth, she had never left the tower, and her fate remained a somber reminder of Henry's brutal nature.

Hope, as she stepped onto the foreign soil of Leones, couldn't help but feel a chill in the air. She knew of these rumors, the stories that painted Henry in such a cruel light. Her mind raced with questions, doubts creeping in. Was this truly the man she was bound to? Was this her fate—to marry a king whose history was stained with the blood of those he had once sworn to love?

As her dragons flew overhead, their wings casting shadows over the land, Hope realized that she could not change what had been decided. Her future was here now, in Leones, and she would have to navigate its dark waters. With a heavy heart, she followed her people through the gates of the kingdom, the weight of her coming marriage pressing upon her shoulders.

The grand palace of Leones stood in all its imposing glory, its stone walls casting long shadows as the sun dipped low in the sky. At the entrance, a crowd had gathered to welcome their new queen. The nobles of the kingdom, the court officials, and servants stood in respectful silence, awaiting the arrival of Princess Hope, who would soon be their queen.

King Henry stood at the front of the crowd, his presence commanding. Beside him were his children—his six daughters and only son—each standing in order according to their birthright. They all looked poised, yet there was an undercurrent of tension in the air. Hope was about to enter their lives, and the weight of the unknown pressed heavily on the hearts of each of Henry's children.

The eldest daughter, Isabella, stood with her back straight and her expression composed, yet her eyes betrayed the curiosity and apprehension she must have felt. Next to her, Mary, the second daughter, wore a soft smile that didn't quite reach her eyes, while Catherine, the third, stood with a dignified stillness, as though preparing for what was to come. Anna, the fourth daughter, kept her gaze lowered, her fingers nervously clasped in front of her. Elisa, the fifth, seemed lost in thought, while Edward, the youngest, stood next to his sisters, his youthful face unreadable, his hands tucked behind his back.

Henry turned to face his children, his gaze sweeping over them before he spoke. "You will be kind to her," he said, his voice carrying the weight of authority. "Your new queen will need your support, your respect, and your understanding. She will be your mother now—your equal, as long as she wears that crown. Do not forget that."

The children nodded solemnly, though their expressions ranged from curiosity to reluctance. Edward, the youngest, cast a fleeting glance at his sisters, his face betraying nothing. It was clear that Hope's arrival would alter everything in the palace, and though they were bound by blood and duty to respect her, there was no telling how this new chapter would unfold for each of them.
