and then it's just them

The Mikaelsons kept their promise for a while, they stayed with Hope and Alec for 3 weeks but like Hope said to Marcel all of them have lifes outside of the kingdom and now Freya, Keelin and Vincent were expecting a child and they did knew he could not be born in the kingdom, cause if he did Freya could be banish for beign a lesbian and having a child in sin, Vincent and Keelin could be executed for treason so they left to New Orleans. Hope and Alec stayed behind for the summer alone but at leats together.

Their grandmother Caitlin and Uncle Otto of course stayed cause Hope was finally aloen for them to mold and use for their political and power game. Alec could be use too but he was a boy after all and in a country were man rule and decide over their lives he could so whatever he wanted unlike Hope that had to be perfection and follow every word the man in her family order her. 

Alec had a good summer despise the loses he and his little sister endure, he trained archery with hios grandfather Ned, his uncles, and cousins. Went haunting with them and he got happiness with them. 

Hope got the bad deal since day one, her grandmother put her on a restricted diet cause according to her, Hope was fat, made her excercise more than the normal amount and always diminishing her. Hope felt worse than ever she was alone, no one was there to protect her or made her feel better, all she had was Alicent and that was the only person she could talk to with honesty. Hope's grandfather the King did not pay attention to her cause he was grieving his wife and his two son's, while ruling over an entiredd kingdom so Hope was not his priority and he left her alone. Otto Stark was making plans to marry her off to the one of the Kings from the neighbour countries, he had send letters alredy selling Hope and the country she will ruled but of course a woman is ruled by her husband even if she is the heir to a throne. So between being used by the both family memebers that cared for the most awful reasons and beign alone in that big castle, losing her parents, her grandmother and her uncle she was the most miserable royal princess. 

After a month of both the Mikaelson sibilings having very diffrent lives in the same place and alone without any other Mikaelson around, people could see the change from Hope in the spring to Hope in the summer, Hope stop smiling and only did it as a courtesy, she dress different, she barely ate and she spend her free time praying. For Hope praying became a safe place, she thought to herself if I pray enough the gods will answer and I'll be happy. 

On the other side Alec never looked better, he was taller, more handsome, a better hunter, a better man and rider. He drank, sang a lot, danced and smile more than ever. 

Alicent and Hope got closer and they even slept together at least 3 times a week. They found that they hated their lives but that the gods gave them their friendship and that was the good part of it. 

-I am so glad your father lets you sleep here. 

-He says that this is a good from of having more power as a girl, cause that means I can find a husband faster.

-We have to get marry to a noble or royal man, yay us. I hate it but that is what we got. So has your father told you who he has send letters of proposal to?

-No, but I am sure he alredy has. How abbout your grandfather?

-He hasn't talk to me in months now, so my uncle is the one doing that with the supervision of my grandmother of course. I just know that some of those man are like old old and I can't even. 

-I just hope mine isn't old old. 

-I will hope that for you, I have already give up on it.

-It is late we should go to sleep Hope

-Yeah.

-I will turn off the candles.

Alicent blow to the candles on her side of the bed and the room went dark. Both girls fell asleep very fast.

The next morning tehy were awken by Hope's maids and tehy rush them cause the King next door was coming. Alicent went back to her room and Hope was left to be bath and dress for the occasion. What hope did not know it's that one of the option to be her husband was in that visit.

The king, Lord Ned Strak, Lady Stark, Otto Stark, Alec and Hope got in line to welcome the royal family of Westeros.
