TODAY IS THE GOLD MEDAL GAME!! Yall I was up so early today. Mostly from the nervousness I was feeling but also the excitement. I know that we're more than capable of winning today.

I looked at my phone seeing that the time read 6:02 AM. And that me and Tyrese was still on the phone. I love that he didn't hang up after I fell asleep.

I got out of my bed and went to the shower. After the shower i did my morning routine and my skincare.

I can't wait to take this wig off. It's given crunchy and stuff.

"why you up so early?" Aja asked me.

"it's gold medal day." I said smiling.

She giggled and went into the bathroom shutting the door behind her. I got my uniform out and laid it at the foot of my bed.

Rugrats were playing on the tv and I love that little show. Especially growing up. Smooth little movie.

I heard Tyrese start steering in his sleep by all the movement he was doing. I don't know if he was hot or uncomfortable or what. He started moving and grunting and groaning.

"I'm tryna have him groaning like that." I said to myself.

"Andy as h*ll." Aja said walking out in a Nike bra.

"I thought I said that quietly." I said laughing.

"what he do to have you ready to risk it all like this?" She asked me.

"it's just him in general, his smile, his voice, his body, his heart ughh. Just sexy." I said daydreaming.

"anyways." Aja said making a disturbed face but she asked.

I woke up and read the time which said 8:27. I got up and went to the shower. after that, I looked in my suitcase for a fit to wear to the game.

They play early so that's why I'm in a rush. Ian set my alarm cause normally I'm up at 7:30-8.

After I got dressed I messed with my curls and then added jewelry and cologne. I waited on bron to finish getting dressed and we left.

"you cuff Jack yet?" He asked me.

"not yet. If all goes well, we're gonna go on a date tonight and I'm gonna ask her." I said.

"gen-z way huh." He said making me scrunch my face up.

"LeBron what are you talking about?" I asked so confused.

He just shook his head like a disappointed father that's just finding out that his son accidentally posted himself smoking weed. Got drafted 55, and gotta play in the G-league.

After we arrived we all got out. We had bam nem with us too. But it was only like 5 of us, the rest would come eventually.

I got out and seen our women warming up. The only one they really have to watch out for fa rea is Gabby Williams and she can win it by herself, I done seen her do it to get here.

The closer it got to time for the game to start, they started wrapping up warm ups. Jackie came over to me and we did our handshake that we've had for forever and I gave her a big hug.

"if yall win; I'll buy your ticket to see kehlani." I said making her gasp. I knew she'd be happy about that.

"deal." She said smiling.

"and if yall don't lose, I'll take you on a date tonight." I added confusing her a little bit, it's the same thing.

She smiled and nodded before running back to her bench. The net definitely finna talk about this.

I got to my bench and Cheryl told us who would be starting. Energy needs to start and come off the bench first.

"yall cute." Breanna said in the huddle. She made me giggle. After that the starting 5 went to the court, I was one.

I tucked my jersey in and did some last minute stretches before Aja hit the out to Chelsea. I ran down court and got in my spot.

They are doing good for the most part. Me personally I know they can do better though, it's the end of the 3rd quarter so I need them to turn it up a notch in this fourth to secure the dub.

"they keep giving France these baby ahh calls." Bam said and he sounded pretty fed up.

"on my mama. At least call on both ends." I added.

It was towards the end of the game and Aja had free throws. She missed one and made the other. After that, they let Williams go all the way down court and sink a three.

"wide ahh open, why?" LeBron said.

"Kelsey got free throws on the next possession cause one of the France players did a little wrap around on her.

"she just goofy and so full of life." Kevin said.

"right she act like she didn't just get a divorce." I said laughing. I'm happy that she's happy and not sulking.

She made her free throws and then gabby fouled Leah with 3.8 seconds left and she got free throws. She sunk both of them, and that was pretty much the game.

"she as on the line Mr ref!" LeBron yelled as gabby made that floater, the lady is unbelievable.

She knew it was a 2. I read her lips and all. And Breanna just messy pointing to that line.

We went on the floor and started congratulating our women. Me going to Jackie last.

"congratulations." I said as she ran into my arms.

"you owe me that concert ticket, and a date. Ha." She said looking up at me.

"I know Jack." I said laughing. After we broke the hug, we let them get crowned.

Both teams winning gold is just great for America. I mean it was honor to represent, I was chose and I'm glad we were able to come out and do what we needed to do to secure the gold.

"drink on me." Diana said making us laugh.

I love my team. Name a better one, I'll wait.
