The SACRIFICE

How?

After the whole romantic surprise and the bike keys as a gift, I started to fall deeply for Sia all those worries and concerns I had I pushed them aside and gave the relationship a chance.

Well we have been together for several months now and she still hasn't discovered who I am, each day is a learning day for us so far we have been on countless dates and had picnics in the park. Usually if I am not working at the club or out on some mission with the gang we take late night walks.

Lately I have gathered a lot of information on Crow but a face is something I can not put on him as he is always masked, Sia and I were to have dinner together today and here I was with Shotgun driving to one of their Wearhouses for a weapons deal. Since I was working with her full time and always see her at home I was starting to get used to her cold moods swings.

"You haven't told her have you?" She broke the silence in the car

"No I will when the time is right we are both still learning each other" I responded

"You know that is just an excuse and I hope you don't wait for her to actually find out, it won't be nice you know" Shotgun said

"Rather than talking about my love life how about we talk about something else" I shut the topic off

"Don't say I didn't warn you cause one way or another Sia will pop in at the club" she said

I just "hmmed" and stared at the landscape outside as the car moved, my mind was truly everywhere I  felt a pang of guilt for not telling her but if I did then my operation would be uncovered as much as I love her I can't risk my mission.

Lately I haven't been at the club or dealing with any mafia related matters all of that was shifted to Shotgun and her new assistant, I now understood the concept of allowing Sky to join us in that world I still do hope she will change her mind though.

Her house has been remodeled and it looked beautiful and very familiar she still doesn't want to tell me why that house is familiar. My relationship with Lunar is going well I even asked her to move in which she agreed to but she spentost of her time away from home due to her night routines at the restaurant she works at.

I offered her a job and she refused it something I would never understand she said something about privileges to close me down. I am intending to go to the club before I go home to my gorgeous girlfriend soon to be wife as I am intending to propose which.

Shotgun is against the idea she even got Sky on her side to contest my proposal, I mean what could go wrong.

Shotgun and I arrived at the wearhouse I spotted a few familiar faces I have been working with lately I went up to greet them as we awaited the other gang leader and his goons.

I have to say it is thrilling to be part of a gang besides the unlawful stuff that they do I would have surely joined them rather than the task force, they are like one big family looking out for each other and have very interesting background stories.

"Scarlet long time no see" Paxton said

"Pax your just being dramatic I was with you the other day in the club" I said

"You were there to work not to talk to me, we should get some time and go out" she said

"That's a great idea but between the work and my relationship it will be a little hard" I said

"Clearly your girl is keeping you busy and the Sia I know wouldn't gate keep you of you asked for a day out with friends more better she can actually join us" Pax said enthusiastically

"So you drink with your boss huh?" I asked

"If you knew the Sia that I knew you would be surprised I guess lately she is behaving" she said laughing

I just shook my head at her tactics a black SUV came in and we all stood in respect as the big boss and my fish came in, as usual the mask was on and the big suit didn't do anything to help me uncovering the mistry behind the mask.

"Good day people" the deepest voice under the mask said

"Good day boss" we all saluted

One thing I noticed is that Shotgun was not part of our salutations or maybe she was already in the wearhouse.

"I believe you have been briefed of what will be happening today, Scarlet and Paxton will assume position next to me, the rest of you will take your usual posts" Crow said

We got our weapons ready and went into an office where Paxton and I stood by his side, my eyes wondered around the dark walled room.

What is it with gangs and dark rooms?

The other gang an Italian gang With their Don Salvatori came into the office, salutations were exchanged between the two and business started as usual.

I was now done with my meetings for the day at the office and I had been informed by Shotgun that there was a weapons deal going on, for the mission and to up protection from the recent waging war against the Russians who were always disrupting our missions.

I got into my car and drove straight to the club I sat at the bar chair and got a  whiskey glass before I proceeded to seat at the VIP area at the balcony there I could see everyone who got in and out and it was a bit hidden and not simple to be spotted.

I asked Marley to bring the books of accounts so I can do a check out routine, Marley is the one accountant of the club and the gang she has ways of cleaning the money from heists and illegal dealings.

"Here you go boss" she said as she handed them to me

"Thanks Marley do you mind joining me I could use with a briefing" I said

While Marley was taking me through the accounting business during the day the Club was a bit silent with soft music playing, I heard a commotion from outside I just ignored it until I heard gunshots.

My bodyguards went out side to check it out as I was rushing down, Shotgun came in when Shotgun came in with bloody hands and a bewildered face I knew something went wrong.  I had no time to ask I scanned Shotguns body for any bleeding spots and couldn't find any.

I was about to go outside when Shotgun stopped me smearing my white shirt with blood.

"Why are you stopping me" I asked

"You can't go outside the Russians are literally all over us" she said

"Fuck off you literally have blood on your hands and you are trying to protect me? Whose blood is that" I yelled at her

"It's hers" Shotgun pointed at a body that Pax came in holding in her arms

The moment I noticed who it was my heart sank, I got worried and all angry at the same time. I felt like I could crack the walls of the club as I watched in slow motion as Pax ran to the underground with her body

My body shut down I didn't know whether to move, stand or fall all I had were questions that needed answers.

"How?" Was the only question I could ask

"Wear your mask and follow me" Shot gun said
