What?

"How did this happen?" I kept on pestering Shotgun who was at the verge of kicking me

"Shut the hell up, she needs urgent help" Shotgun spet

"She has lost her conscious I can't do anything here, someone take her to the hospital" Paxton said with panic

"I'll do it" I said as I carried her

"You can't do that she will notice you" Shotgun said

"She is literally unconscious and if I don't she will die, now take off this stupid shit on my head" I said

I raced to my car with her in my arms I gently got her into the backseat of the car, I didn't care if blood was going to stain my seats or not, Shotgun jumped into the car laying her head on her legs. I raced to the hospital with so many questions in my mind but my prime focus was on getting Lunar to the hospital.

When we got there the doctors rushed to help her.

"You have to stay here we will update you" a nurse said stopping me from following into the emergency room

"How did all of this happen huh? How did she get shot? What was she doing outside the club?" I asked with my hands on my head

"We were coming from the warehouse on our way back to the club we noticed a cars that were tailing the team, they started shooting at us we split into different paths trying to escape them one of them followed my car to the club and fired at us and Lunar was just in the way of those bullets" Shotgun explained

"You still haven't explained how she got in the way, you fucken let that happen why didn't you protect her?" I yelled as I held Shotgun against the wall my hand was on her throat

Shotgun managed to wiggle herself free from my grip and landed a fist on my face, she hit my nose so hard it started bleeding

"It's not my fucken fault that she didn't tell you the truth" Shotgun yelled as she landed a punch on my stomach

"The truth! What truth" I yelled back at her throwing a punch as well

With the commotion between us the hospital security had to bring us apart from fighting, Shotgun left me there and went to God knows where a nurse noticed my nose bleeding and tried to assist but backed off the moment I almost made him swallow my fist.

What truth is Shotgun talking about?

As I was nursing my broken and bleeding heart that failed to protect Lunar, the doctor came out I didn't even realise she was standing before me until she made a sound.

"Hmm hmm are you the family of the lady who got shot?" She asked

"Yes I am, she is my partner" I said

"Currently she is out of the woods we managed to extract 4 bullets non of them were fital, but she suffered some injury to the chest and on the kidney side"  the doctor said

"Is she going to be okay though" I asked worried

"Yes she should regain consciousness after a few minutes or hours, but don't worry she is in safe hands we will keep you updated as we monitor the situation" the doctor said before leaving

I went into her room and there she was laying peacefully like the beautiful angel she was, I stood beside her bed and kissed her forehead while gently squeezing her hand.

"Your going to be fine" I whispered with tears in my eyes at the silent body besides me

I opened my eyes to a very unfamiliar room, my body felt so tight like a truck had hit me I had tubes hanging from my body that I didn't understand how they got on me. I felt that someone was holding my hand I turned my head slowly as it was in pain my eyes fell upon Sia who seemed to be zoomed out.
