Look, being a demigod was enough for me. I never asked to be a dimensional traveler. If you think that it is cool and maybe you are one of us, my advice: close this book right now. Believe whatever lie your mom or dad told you about yourself, and try to lead a normal life. You will thank me later.

Being a dimensional traveler is more dangerous than being a half-blood. It's scary and painful. Most of the time you feel like you'll die most horribly.

If you're a normal kid and you are reading this because you think it's fiction and dimensional traveling is impossible, great. Read on. I envy you for being able to believe that none of this ever happened.

If you recognize yourself in these chapters or if you feel something stirring inside—stop reading immediately. You might be one of us. And once you know that, it's only a matter of time before it senses too, and It'll come for you.

     Don't say I didn't warn you.

     My name is Percy Jackson...

I am 14  years old and I am also........a demigod kid, the son of Poseidon, who has ADHD and a kid who has had prophecies upon himself. A very dangerous one.

That was all, until a few months ago, when my friend Nico Di Angelo who is the son of Hades was on a mission to retrieve one of the powerful artifacts of Cronos  (who is known to be the God of time) before Kronos's minions intervened.

I was already having a really bad feeling about this but let's get it over with, I just wanted to rest but Mr. D was very persistent at that time on making me go on this mission and no one even told me who was going to go with me.

When I got ready I was waiting for whoever was going to be my partner in this mission.  I saw Nico coming towards me so I stood up and got ready, Time to go. He shadow traveled both of us outside the museum and we sneaked through the first entrance gate trying our best not to make any sound.

We crouched behind marble statues in the front door of the New York Museum's ancient Greek exhibit, We looked at each other.

"Ready?" I whispered, opening my pen cap slowly and gripping Riptide's hilt tightly.

His dark eyes gleamed in the night of New York. Nico nods, "Shadow travel, here we go!"

Nico with his magic caused the darkness to make fast circular movements, it surrounded us in the shadows and then dissolved us into the hidden paths of darkness, speeding through it. But something was wrong.

I think Nico also felt it, and suddenly there was a flash that was almost blinding us. My stomach felt like it was being torn apart into pieces and it hurts worse than hell. It felt like we were being pushed by something or someone sideways.

There was a small!THUD! But I don't think anyone heard it. I felt very tired after that and I wanted to open my eyes but I felt like there was no energy left in me. Somehow I managed to get my body to open my eyes.

What I saw wasn't the night of New York but it was day. Birds were flying and the sun was up but I couldn't see any tall buildings. I managed to force myself into stumbling up and I looked around.

I opened my eyes and saw that all the shadows were slowly vanishing.

I was blinking and said, "Nico, what—"

Finally, I got a good grip on my feet and saw Nico beside me, he stood up and we looked at each other for a moment before looking around. Just then a few feet away, we see two people in some weird clothing. Their movements were fine and fluid like the watercolor being mixed in water.

"What kind of sorcery is that?" I breathed, amazed by the way the 2 men were moving.
