"I'm sorry. You're staying where?" Kie said to me and John B as we were all gathered in The Wreck.

Me and Kie were working anyway and told the others to meet us there, I had to get out of that house anyway, I have no idea what I'd do if I ran into Rafe.

"So you're living with Sarah Cameron." Kie said.

"Okay, look, the only reason we are living there is because her dad bailed us out, right? And it's way better than foster care, which, by the way, is where me and Cherry were about to go if Ward didn't—

"Hey, so do you have a membership to the clubs now?" Pope joked.

"I don't know, Pope." My brother shook his head as he sat down at the table.

"What about those golf carts they drive around? You get one of them?" JJ added and I glared at him from across the restaurant.

"I already use one of them you dipshit, I work at the club, remember?" I said and JJ held his hands up.

"Does it come with a sweater-vest, or do you have to buy one of your own?" Pope played along with the jokes.

"Look, you promised. You said you weren't with her." Kie looked at John B.

"Bro, just own it. She got you." JJ said.

"Look, if you wanna hang out with her, that's fine. But I'm letting you know right now that I'm not doing anything with Sarah."

"Do you guys see her here?" John B asked as he was clearly irritated with all the questions about Sarah.

"No, right. Okay. A little focus would be fantastic. We've got the map, right?" My brother said.

"It's out of whack 'cause the guy was ganja'd when he drew it." JJ showed us the map and I chuckled.

"It's 'cause the coast has changed you idiot." I whispered to JJ.

"So we just have to look for landmarks that haven't changed." Pope clarified.

"What about the old forts?" John B suggested and I raised my brows.

"Battery Jasper." Kie said and pointed to it on the map.
