Scar was in his usual elven wear as he sat in one of his fold-out-chairs, in front of him knelt down patiently was none other than Grian, who was trying to get some sort of feeling back into Scars numbed legs, the elf had started using the wheelchair around 3 months ago but even before that Grian was doing this, kneeling and pressing thumbs into the degrading muscles, but not as often, he started to feel like it was only making it worse, which would mean the avian's why in 4 months Scar has only gotten progressively worse. Grian can and does still bring Scar around on Donk but now they had no choice but to always stay on the same path that didn't bounce him around and irritate the nerves. That is until Grian finally stops procrastinating and makes those new paths he planed about 2 months ago.

Grian finally re-focused on everything around him to realize that he'd stopped his soothing actions and Scar was now staring out the open window, which made his beautifully long hair blow around gently in the wind, he had a soft smile on his face but his eyes looked so.. dull.
Grian began moving his leg a bit again but Scar didn't notice, Scar could just about not feel anything Grian did, in the face of Scars distraction Grians curiosity got the best of him. So he looked outside, only to see Ren and Doc dancing in the snow happily like the (platonic) couple they were, thats why his expression with so dull, so wanting. Scar wanted to dance again, move freely again..
Grian had an idea. But he had to figure out how to stop Scars condition from worsening as quick as it already has. But he needed Doc, Iskall, and Mumbo for it. He just had to hope it would work and soon.

So Grian sent himself off to collect each of them in the shopping district after he got Scar to nap, And told them the plan, he explained everything, from when it started as it was the reason for his cane, and how its gotten much worse in the last few months, so the four set off to work, Leaving Grian and Sometimes also Mumbo to keep Scar away from The works of the other 3, to keep him away from his soon-to-be Christmas present that he was sure Scar would Love!

A week passed and progress he supposed was made. And Grian was being more careful than normal with scars leg.
"Hey Scar, why's your leg doing that?"
Grian had asked randomly, Scar had been staring out the window once more but now Scar seemed to re-focus, he looked down at his leg to see it spasming once Grian had stopped.
"Oh that? Its just uh- spasming, the muscles can't understand why they cant move much?" Scar hid the tinge of pain he got from even the softest feather touch.
"Ohh! WAIT!! Does that mean you're getting better!?" Grian set Scars leg down as softly as one could and jumped up with the energy of a toddler, wings puffing up and loose feathers slowly making their way to the ground from how he moved and made a giddy squeal in his excitement. And seeing Grian so excited.. Scar put on his best smile.
"Yea, the Muscles in my legs must be getting better, Grian." He hid his saddened tone as best as one could.
Grian didn't even notice the sad hints in the elves tone, too caught up in what he thought was excitement.
"I can't believe you're getting better! We'll be able to go mining freely again soon!! And we can go everywhere!! and climb the mountains!!"
"Yeah..We will.."

But 2 days later.

"Hey Scar! How're you feeling?" Grian walked in holding a tray of food for Scar, since recently he needed a bit more help, In order to get better he just needed to rest more, Thats what he was told by Scar Himself. Grian had already told everyone that Scar was getting better, they expected him to get better.
Scar smiled to the avian "I'm feeling good, what about you G?"
"I'm super excited for you to get better! I can't wait to hike up mountains with you again and mine and ride horses through !" Grian exclaimed, repeating what he has been the past few days.
Scar felt guilt fill in his heart, he hated lying to Grian, but he didnt want to disappoint the poor avian who had such hopes in him
"Me Too! I can't wait to race you up mountains again." Scar smirked, despite his worsening condition, he played the part. For his friend.
"WOOO!!!" Yelled Grian, it was hard for him to contain himself, even as his glasses slipped a bit down his nose bridge and threatened to fall.
"Hey i'm gonna play some monopoly later do you wanna play?" Grian asked once he had finally calmed himself down, sitting in the fold-out-chair he had made out of Acacia
"Sure!" Scar said as happily as he could.
"Okay! I'll come back at six, I'm gonna go get some food!" Grian said, as he left the room
Scar sat, thinking about if he should keep playing into the role or if he should just man up and tell Grian, but he was afraid to crush his friends heart. So so afraid because he was the only person who visited on a constant.

Scar didn't want to hurt Grians feelings, he never wanted to hurt anyone! But this lies been going on so long already that he'll need to tell the sandy blond sooner or later, though he wished he never needed too. He never wanted to let Grian down and crush his dream, he just wanted to see the avian happy for as long as he lived.

That night, Scar spent 2 hours, possibly more staring up at the moon from in his window and wished along every breath that what Grian was convinced of would come true, so he could truely go mining and harvesting with him again without having to force the wheelchair to make spots for crops before his arms got too tired, the dirt was always wet whether before or after seeding, which was difficult to manually push a wheelchair through. Good thing he had strong arms.
