Yn sighed in frustration as she put her phone down. Taehyung hadn't been answering her calls all morning, which was unlike him. Something felt off. Deciding to check on him, she grabbed her coat and headed to his place.
When she arrived, a maid answered the door, looking concerned. "He hasn't come out of his room since morning," the maid explained. "He told us not to disturb him."
"I'll check on him," Yn said firmly. Without waiting for a response, she headed toward Taehyung's room.
Standing in front of his door, she knocked gently. "Taehyung? It's me, Yn. I'm coming in." There was no response. She hesitated before trying the doorknob—it wasn't locked. Slowly, she pushed the door open and stepped inside, closing it behind her.
Yn noticed the light gray walls with abstract paintings and framed photos that showed Taehyung's artistic side. The big bed near the tall window with curtains was messy, with pillows on the floor and a blanket loosely covering someone curled up on the bed. The room smelled like vanilla and sandalwood from a diffuser on the nightstand, which also held a glass of water and a pair of glasses. His desk had an open laptop and papers spread all over, showing he had been working on something. Even with the small mess, the room felt cozy and matched Taehyung's personality perfectly.

Her gaze fell on Taehyung. He was curled up under his blanket, his entire body covered. Worry gripped her chest as she approached him. "Taehyung?" she called softly, shaking him gently. He didn't stir.
Leaning closer, she noticed his face was flushed red. Alarmed, she touched his forehead and found it burning hot. "Oh no, Taehyung... you're sick," she whispered, her heart aching.
She quickly searched the room, opening drawers until she found a bottle of medicine and a small white towel. Yn rushed to the bathroom to wet the towel with cold water before returning to his bedside. Gently, she placed the damp cloth on his forehead.
Taehyung stirred slightly, his eyes fluttering open. In a hoarse whisper, he mumbled, "Mom..."
Yn's heart softened at the sound. He must really miss her, she thought, smiling faintly. As he drifted off again, she used another cloth to wipe his face, carefully moving down his neck to his collarbones.
"Taehyung, I'm sorry for this... no bad intentions," she murmured as she hesitated over the top buttons of his shirt. Deciding it was necessary, she unbuttoned a few and wiped his chest gently, recalling how her grandmother had once cared for her in the same way.
The method seemed to work; his breathing steadied, and the redness on his face began to fade. Before long, Taehyung's eyes opened again. He stared at the ceiling for a moment before turning his head toward Yn.
His eyes widened in surprise. "Yn? You're here?"
She smiled softly, relieved to see him awake. "Yeah, I'm here. You weren't answering your phone, so I came to check on you."
Taehyung tried to sit up, but Yn quickly helped him lean back against the headboard for support. "Here," she said, handing him a pill and a glass of water. "Take this."
He swallowed the pill and set the glass down before looking at her with a faint smile. "I think my phone's switched off..."
Yn lowered her gaze, guilt washing over her. "I think... this is all because of me. I shouldn't have forced you to stay in the rain last night."
But Taehyung shook his head weakly. "No, it's not that. I actually... enjoyed last night. All thanks to you."
Yn's lips curved into a soft smile. Despite her guilt, his words warmed her heart.

I watched her sitting beside me, her face still painted with worry. Her care and concern touched me in a way I couldn't explain. I smiled softly and said, "I know you like the rain, but don't get wet in it often, or you'll fall sick like me."
She looked down, her expression apologetic, which was the last thing I wanted to see. "Okay..." she whispered quietly. I nodded and gave her a reassuring smile.
"I think my fever is gone now," I added, trying to lighten the mood.
She smiled back, her eyes sparkling with relief, and nudged me playfully. "You look fine, like before. Seems the medicine worked well."
I shook my head with a grin. "Or maybe it's the magic of your special care!"
She laughed, a sound that instantly made me feel better, and playfully hit my shoulder. But as the laughter faded, I noticed something: my shirt was unbuttoned. I looked down and said teasingly, "You didn't have to unbutton me, though."
Her smile turned shy and a little embarrassed. "Well, you know, it was... for your..." She hesitated, fumbling for words, her cheeks tinged pink.
Seeing her flustered, I couldn't resist teasing her. "Okay, okay, I get it. You just wanted to take a glance at my well-built muscles."
Her eyes narrowed in annoyance, and she crossed her arms. "Oh, come on. You don't need to show off something you don't have!"
"Hey!" I protested, pretending to be offended. "Of course I do!"
We both burst out laughing, the sound filling the room and lifting the mood. Once the laughter faded, I looked at her with gratitude. "Thank you for coming and helping me."
She smiled warmly, her gaze soft. "Anytime, Taehyung. You don't have to thank me."
I remembered the events of last night and added, "And yeah, thank you for saving me from that jerk."
At the mention of him, anger bubbled up inside me. "Oh, that bastard... You better stay away from him. Next time I see him around you, I swear I'll chop off his—"
"Taehyung!" she exclaimed, cutting me off, her eyes wide with shock but amusement dancing in them. She laughed, clearly both surprised and amused by my reaction. "You're being so overprotective these days."
I smirked. "Can you blame me?"
She just shook her head, her laughter still lingering in the air, and I couldn't help but think how lucky I was to have her by my side.
