24~She felt it break.

"Hatsuharu, stop!" A maid shouts at him.

"Shut up. Get the hell out of her, hag." He says, his gaze not focused on the woman, but focused on Akito.

"It's fine," Akito says and waves off the maid. "It's clear Hatsuharu has something important he needs to speak with me about."

"I want to know why you pushed her. Why did you push Rin?"

Suddenly, Akito laughs. "I pushed? Really? That's news to me. Now, where did you hear that?"

"An oracle."

"You say such ridiculous things sometimes, Haru. Such a simple boy." Akito says, laughing again.

"Stop laughing. Tell me why you did it. Were you trying to kill her?!" Hatsuharu says, looking like he's about to kill someone.

"It's funny, you believe in oracles but don't believe in me, your god. I wonder why you're so worried about whatever happened to Isuzu. You always have been awfully nice to her. Is it out of pity? Compassion? Or some other reason?"

"Because I love her!!!" Hatsuharu yells and slams his fist against the door. "But you have known that for a long time now so obviously you're just trying to piss me off!"

"Tell me, where is Rin? Everyone else doesn't seem to know but I bet you do." Hatsuharu says in a calmer and intimidating voice.

"What a worthless conversation. Where did you get an idea like that?" Akito asks.

"With Rin, you've always been cold. It's not just her either, you treat all girls like that. All the cruel things you do, is that how a god is supposed to be? Is it?!" Hatsuharu shouts and shoves Akito against a wall.

"Not all girls, look at (Y/N), I treat her like a princess."

"Don't even get me started. That girl is the most broken of them all because of you! All the scars and trauma, because of you!" Hatsuharu says, a fire in his eyes at the smaller girl's name.

"You knew how I felt, yet you still came storming in here. Declaring your love for her, you knew I hated Isuzu, yet you said it anyway." Akito says.

"Where is Rin?"

"I told you I don't know! I don't get why it always has to be-"

"Rin is in the hospital with Hatori. She's not fully conscious, but she will be okay." Kureno says, walking up to Akito and touching his cheek. "Akito, you mustn't do these things, no matter who you are or how you feel. It isn't right.

"So? Where was she?" Hatsuharu asks.

"The cat's place. She was locked away in the room meant for the cat."

Hatsuharu starts trembling and Akito looks up at Kureno. "But why? Why Kureno? Why would you betray me like this?"

"No, Akito, you don't understand."

"You're cruel!"

"Akito-"

"Enough! Enough of your bullshit! You lie and lie, and lie, and lie, and he is the one that's cruel?! Were you trying to kill her again?!" Hatsuharu shouts, his hands pulling Akito by the collar.

"So what if I was? It's your fault for choosing that girl over your god. You might as well have dug her grave yourself!"

Hatsuharu yanks Akito and throws him against the wall, going to punch Akito before punching the wall instead.

"Don't talk, or I might snap and kill you, then myself." And with that, Hatsuharu walks away.
