When she was young, her heart was light,
A flower bathed in morning's white.
Innocent, pure, she dared to dream,
Of love as endless as a stream. She saw the boys with eager eyes,
Their laughter bright, their charm, her skies.
But tender words she shared in trust,
Were met with silence, ground to dust.Rejected not once, but time and again,
Her fragile hopes turned into pain.
Each "no" became a shadowed scar,
A reminder of love's distant star.Yet still, she clung to her heart's refrain,
Believing love would soothe the pain.
Until the years revealed, at last,
That love unreturned is a tempest past. Now grown, she gazes at her son,
A life she chose, her battles won.
No man's embrace brought him to be,
But science, strength, and destiny. She sees the world in colors new,
Once pastel dreams, now bold and true.
No longer waiting for hearts to align,
She's found her meaning, her design. The girl she was, naïve and kind,
Has learned the art of a steadier mind.
She no longer bends to love's cruel call,
For she has built her own strong wall. Her son laughs, and in his eyes,
She sees no need for old goodbyes.
Her love for him is fierce, profound,
A bond that roots her to the ground. And while she smiles at the life she's made,
She mourns the girl whose hopes decayed.
But through the loss, she's come to see,
The strength of love when it sets you free.No longer pure in the way she was,She holds a love that earns applause. For in her son, she's found her worth,A bloom reborn from her own earth.
