"Deck the halls with boughs of holly." Alexander singed. He had bought a karaoke machine when they arrived at their house. Cat had bought a lake house because she didn't want to stay in a hotel. Christmas had already passed but Alexander and Arianna were still in the Christmas spirit. "Fa la la la la, la la la la." Alexander spoke into the microphone, his singing was terrible and not mention the British accent when singing wasn't doing him any justice. "'Tis the season to be jolly. Fa la l-" Alexander was voice cut off by Arianna unplugging the karaoke machine.

"What'd you do that for, mate?" Alexander asked in an irritated tone.

"'Tis the season you shut up. You're killing my ears" Arianna said as she plopped down on the couch, in front of Alexander. "Besides, no one wants to hear your singing."

The LaRusso's were coming over for dinner. "Are they here yet?" Alexander asked. He was nervous to meet them because he didn't like meeting new people.

"No. But, they should arrive any second now." Arianna said, right before the doorbell rang. "Damn it, I was gonna find a place to hide." Alexander exhaled loudly. Arianna smiled as she heard the door open, "There's no running away now." She said softly but in a mocking tone, Arianna enjoyed teasing her brother about not liking to socialize. It was not because he got nervous but instead because his ego was so high, he believed he was above everyone else.

"Oh, wow, your house is beautiful." Arianna heard a female's voice in the hall. She guessed it was Mrs. LaRusso.

"Thank you." The siblings heard the mother's sharp and low voice. "Well, let me show you to the dinning room."

Alexander sighed with relief, hearing the footsteps getting quieter. "Tell them, I've gotten sick or something." Alexander gave a pleading look to Arianna, knowing she would refuse.

"No." Arianna shook her head as she got up. "If I have to join them, you do as well." She explained. Alexander leaned his head back and exhaled exasperatedly. "Well? After you." Arianna's lips curled into a smug smile.

Cat, Amanda, and Daniel were sitting at a separate table from Samantha and Anthony. "I wonder what they're like." Sam told her younger brother, who was too busy on his phone, to pay attention to a word she was saying. The only thing Sam knew was that, the girl was a 2-time Karate world champion.

"His name is Terry Silver." Daniel, Amanda, and Cat were discussing the Karate situation. "The guy's a complete psychopath."

"Terry Silver, huh? Where have I heard that name before?" Cat said, trying her best to remember. "Could you be talking about Terrance Silver?" Cat asked, clicking her tongue.

Daniel shared a confused look with his wife. "Yeah, how...how do you know him?"

"I don't, honestly. I know his partner, Cheyenne Hamidi." Cat said, relaxing her face. "But, when I met him, he seemed so..." Cat was interrupted by Daniel.

"Charismatic?" Daniel asked.

"Yeah."

"He has that effect on people." Daniel said, bitterly. Amanda gave Cat and Daniel a confused look.

Alexander and Arianna showed up at the doorway of huge dinning room, which had big windows that outlooked the lake. "Well, look who finally showed up." Cat smiled as she got up from her chair. "Let me introduce you to my children, my daughter Arianna, and my son Alexander." Cat told Daniel and Amanda, Arianna was her mother's pride and joy because she had taken after her, not really looks-wise but personality and interests. Alexander's muscular frame and Arianna's lean frame towered over their mother's small frame.

Arianna smiled and waved, while Alexander looked like he was constipated.

"Wow, it's very nice to meet you." Amanda said as she and Daniel got up from her seats.

"Very nice to meet you as well, Mr and Mrs. LaRusso." Arianna smiled.

"They're tall." Sam whispered to Anthony, who finally lifted his eyes from his phone. Alexander was 6'4 while Arianna was 5'10.

Alexander and Arianna walked over to the table that Sam and Anthony were sitting at. "Hi, I'm Arianna, and this is my brother Alexander." Arianna smiled at the brunette-hair girl, as she and Alexander sat down. Honestly, she was kind of eager to make new friends. "Sam, and this is my brother Anthony." Sam smiled.

And then after that, it was just awkward silence as they waited for the food to arrive. Meanwhile at the other table, Daniel was telling Amanda and Cat all about his and Johnny's high school rivalry. "Are you finding this ridiculous, too?" Cat asked Amanda, her eyebrow slightly lifted and an amused look on her face.

"Oh, trust me, I find this completely ridiculous." Amanda nodded her head, and smiled at the ridiculosity of this.

"Okay, wait a minute, that's not the point. It's not...completely ridiculous." Daniel said, trying to get the focus back on talking about Kreese.

"Wait, so this rivalry with Kreese happened in high school, right?" Cat asked, trying to calculate the years it had been since then. "So this Karate rivalry is like 30 something years old? That's embarrassing." Cat scoffed.

"I...completely agree." Amanda laughed. "Glad we're on the same page."

"So, I heard you were a 2-time karate world champion." Sam told Arianna, trying to make conversation.

"Well, I don't like to flatter myself, but yeah, I am." Arianna grinned. She had to admit, she liked being acknowledge for her accomplishments, but who wouldn't?

"I do Karate as well. But I don't think I would be able to be a world champion 2 times." Sam laughed. "That's seriously impressive."

"You know, that's what I used to think as well." Arianna smiled. "But I ended up proving myself wrong. You can do anything if you just focus on doing it." She insisted, as she leaned forward towards Sam, resting her arms on the table.

"Um, there's a karate tournament coming up soon, in this town. And I'm kind of nervous for it, I don't want to let anyone down by losing." Sam explained, just as the food finally arrived. Cat had hired new servants because some of the ones back home couldn't travel with them due to their families.

"You can certainly win that little karate tournament." Arianna smiled, her voice soft but confident. She picked up her fork to begin eating.

"Thanks." Sam smiled. "Was it hard for you winning two times?" She asked.

"First time it was somewhat hard, but the second time it got much easier." Arianna chuckled. She was a pretty skilled fighter so she won every fight, her Sensei had taught her many strategies in all of her years of training. Alexander just stared at Sam and Arianna while eating his dumpling. While Anthony was using his phone as he ate his food.

"So how long do you guys plan on staying?" Sam asked.

"Not long, hopefully." Alexander muttered under his breath. Alexander has been a spoiled brat, every time they took a vacation he would always complain about something. Dubai is too overrated for him, France is basic, Spain is boring, Singapore is too hot and humid, Italy is "whatever", Korea is also basic, he'd been to Scotland too many times, and basically every country they had ever been to for a vacation was boring to Alexander.

"We are here on a vacation, but Alexander misses home." Arianna explained. Although, Alexander didn't really miss Hong Kong, instead it was Heilongjiang that he missed. "I am guessing we will be here for a few months." Arianna said.

"Oh, that's good, I guess." Sam responded. "What school will you being going to?"

"I think it was called West Valley High or something." Arianna said, her tone a bit unsure. "I don't know. The nearest private school is two towns away so that's the school we have to go to, for now." Arianna explained.

"That's the school I go to." Sam smiled. "I guess I'll be seeing you around."
