Stoneblade Writers: Fate of Storms

Jolista and the Stoneblades.

You will begin by waking up to your alarm, letting you know that it's time for school. You'll get up and get ready before it's time to go.

You'll meet two of your classmates; Fiðri and Waenn, before you start for home. You will then be alerted of something in the forest. The other two will flee in terror, but you're no scaredy cat. Enter the forest and navigate to the deeper end, where you'll find a small kid and a large monster. The kid will turn to you before a cutscene will hit and you will get your stoneblade keystone.

You will then enter a battle with the kid in your Stoneblade form, Jolista. The kid won't transform right away unless you really screw up the battle. As Jolista, you are mostly a healer. So use your abilities to your advantage. You can also purify the beast at the end. The kid will actually have magic to cover for them not transforming.

If you somehow can't defeat the enemy (only has about 100 health), the kid will destroy it instead.

After the battle, the kid will congratulate you before explaining what happened. You were chosen by the Stoneblade and are now tasked to protect the stories of the world. The Kid, who will introduce themself as Mlm, will let you know that there are 5 other members that need to get their Keystones. You can then go home after that.

A very similar thing will happen the following day. Your friends will ask if you're ok before scolding you for your bravery. Mlm will catch you after school, alerting you that another monster from before had appeared. This time, Fiðri and Waenn won't let you run off on your own. Take them to where Mlm is, where it will be revealed that your friends are two of the other members.

This next fight you will have Jolista alongside Kappella (Waenn) and Circle (Fiðri). Kappella is a Rogue, so she will have faster attacks. Meanwhile, Circle is a caster and will need 2-3 turns to charge up attacks. So use this fight to get used to their fighting style before defeating the monster. Again, if you can't win, Mlm will step in.

Mlm will then let you know after the battle that they found two of the off-field members, leaving one more member. You'll be allowed home after that.

You'll discover that last person in Yilo after another monster attacks the school. Mlm will save the school from the attack before getting Yilo her Keystone. Mlm will also let you know that they will not be participating in this battle to keep the school protected.

This is the first battle that you can lose. But don't let that affect you as your team will be able to hold. Jolista, Kappella, Circle and your new member Espellra will be able to hold the frontlines. Use Jolista to keep your team alive while Circle charges up attacks and Kappella uses fast strikes. Espellra can buff the team, so you should only need 3 turns before the monster is down.

Mlm will congratulate you before giving you the location of the Stoneblade base. You are not required to go to it right away. You can actually take the time to clear out some of the other monsters that are circling the village instead. These monsters may be a little tougher, so don't be disappointed when you lose.

When you arrive at the base, you will be greeted by Timekoni, chosen by Willow, and Keanu, chosen by Skyrim. Mlm will then let you know that 4 dangerous people are targeting stories and you have a lot of work to do.
