My heart cries For me

In the depths of despair, where darkness resides

There lies a sadness that no tears can hide

Aching deep within, a heart that sighs

Crying out in silence, with sorrow as its guide

No tears fall from these weary eyes

Instead, my heart weeps with mournful cries

Aching with a pain that never dies

Longing for solace, beneath the moonlit skies

Each beat aches with a heavy burden

Carrying the weight of sorrow as a hidden prison

Locked away from the world, in a lonely cavern

Where echoes of sadness reverberate without reason

I hide behind a mask of smiles so bright

Pretending that everything is alright

But deep inside, there's a never-ending fight

Between the darkness and the flickering light

But still, my heart continues to weep

Aching with a sadness so deep

Longing for a moment of sweet sleep

To escape the sorrow that it can't keep

So I let my heart cry in its own way

Hoping that someday, the sadness will sway

And in its place, joy will come to stay

And my heart will finally find its way.
