Lexi woke up after about an hour, I think she just shut down after everything. All she did when she woke up was tell us she loved us but needed more rest. She went up to our room, got in bed and fell asleep. I've checked on her multiple times and she hasn't budged at all.

I thought the panic attack had me worried, but her state right now has me on edge and twice as worried as I was earlier.

A few hours went by before my mom went upstairs to try and get her to eat dinner. She said Lexi woke up for a second to say no thank you and turned over falling back asleep.

"I don't know what to do" I spoke my thoughts out loud as my parents and I sat around the living room.

"I don't think there is anything you can do more than you already do sweetie" my mom replied.

"So I just do nothing?" I asked trying to keep my frustration at bay.

"Son when its mental and deeper than just a physical trauma there really isn't anything you can do but be supportive on her journey to getting better. She's delt with more betrayal from people that were supposed to love her more than anyone I've ever known, honestly. And that's saying something coming from our line of work" My dad explained.

He made sense but it still didn't make me feel any better. Lexi's phone ringing for the 4th time in a row caught all of our attention. I got up and walked over to the counter and grabbed it seeing she was Grace. I rolled my eyes before answering it.

"Hello"

"Um who's this?" she asked acting like she didn't know.

"Who do you think?" I replied with a slight hint of irritation.

"Right, sorry. Um is Lexi around? I kind of have something important to talk to her about."

"You can tell me. She's resting and if its anything in the slightest bit negative she cannot handle it right now." I explained.

"Well um it's not good news. It's actually kind of crazy.'

"Okay so spit it out then" I demanded trying to keep a steady tone.

"I think her mom is alive. And I know it sounds crazy because we literally seen her dead body but-"

"What makes you think that?" I asked cutting her off.

"I got a call from a private number saying it was her and it was her voice. Asking if I knew where Lexi moved too since the old house was empty. I told her no obviously since I honestly don't know where you guys are. And because well, I didn't believe it was her." She explained.

"Listen, do not talk to her and don't tell her anything about Lexi. You don't know how serious the situation is."

"Okay I won't. And I won't tell Lexi if its going to hurt her." She replied.

With that, I hung up. I looked back at my parents who shared the same worrying look. I stood there for a second letting it sink in. Without even thinking I picked up the cup on the counter and threw it against the wall causing my mom to stand up.

"I'm so fucking sick of this BULLSHIT!" I screamed not being able to hold it in any longer. "Pete and her fucking mom have to die. I don't care anymore. How many more hits are we going to take because of THEM! How many more times are we going to give them a chance to try to kill me and Lexi! I'm so fed up with them I'm actually willing to trust Grace! I don't even like her!"

Silence fell over the room before a voice from behind us spoke up.

"Lets get it done then." Lexi said in a flat voice.
