Ruhi🤍☁️

It's been a week since we started dance practice, and now I'm completely exhausted. All I want to do is lie down in my room and rest. But to make matters worse, I have to submit some assignments tomorrow, and it's the last date.

God, I don't know how I'm going to accomplish everything.

"Hey, Ruhi! You look like a zombie. Get up. We have to practice." Sherlin said, as she dragged me towards the hall.

Can't we take a break today?" I asked her, my voice hoarse from exhaustion.

"No, now get some energy! We also have to go shopping. We're going to decide dance outfits today," she said, crossing her arms.

"Ahhh hell no, pleaseee," I groaned, feeling exhausted just at the thought of having to shop for dance outfits on top of everything else.

"And I have to complete my assignment too,"

I asked her, "Did you finish yours already?"

She laughed and replied, "Who does assignments themselves? I just hand it to our classmates. I've never done one in my life." She continued to laugh.

I was taken aback by her words, and mumbled, "Huh?"

She said, "Yeah, I'll tell them. They'll do yours too."

I shook my head, "No, no. I'll handle it. I don't like to give my burden to others. I know everyone is busy, and I can't just pass my stuff to others."

She gave me a dismissive look and said, "Come on, stop being so stubborn. Just hand it over. It's not like you're the only one with things to do."

I firmly replied, "I will handle it. I'm not shifting my burden to someone else," and as I spoke, I felt a presence behind me.
I turned around and saw Mihir standing there, casually leaning against the wall, having overheard our entire conversation.

The choreographer clapped his hands and said, "Alright, shall we start now?"

Everyone gathered around, ready to begin the dance practice.

As the dance practice continued, Mihir leaned in and whispered in my ears, "You don't need to do those assignments. I will talk to your professor."

My heart skipped a beat as he spoke, and I felt a shiver run down my spine.
I looked at him with a mix of surprise and disbelief, wondering why he was offering to help me.

But before I could say anything, the music started, and I was pulled back into the dance routine.

I tried to act normal and replied, "I...will d-do it by myself. It's important for the upcoming exams. I can't just let it go."

Even though we had been practicing dance together for a week, I still felt a shiver of nervousness whenever he was around. I didn't understand why I always felt that way, but it was as if we were dancing for the first time every single day.

He leaned in to whisper again,"When will you do it today? We're also going to select outfits. you have to stay up all night if you want to complete your stupid assignments."

I tried not to meet his eyes as I replied,
"I will handle it. Don't worry about it."

I could feel his gaze on me, and it made my pulse quicken even more. He suddenly stopped dancing and backed away, his gaze fixed directly on me. Everyone else was still dancing, but we had come to a halt in the middle of the room.

I looked into his intense eyes, wondering why he had stopped.

"Stop! Everyone, practice is dismiss."
Everyone immediately stopped dancing as Mihir commanded in a cold voice.
