This Time, We're Gonna Fight

It's been a week and I guess it has been better now. It's still Jai here and I hope you have searched about me. If not, there is still a lot of time left and I envy you. I envy you because there's still a lot of time for you to decide whether you're gonna search me or not. But me, I don't have a lot of time before I lose my mind. The time itself is haunting me. I have not lot of time to keep my little secret anymore; if that's a little secret to be described.

It's been a week since I swore to God that I really did fell in love with my brother. It's Goddamn wrong but what can I do? It happened. It's been a week since my life and my whole world changed. Since then, Luke keeps on nudging closer to me, convincing me to tell him who it really was and since then, I am trying to escape him; to escape his questions. It's hard of course, obviously because we live at the same roof, breathe at the same air; sleep at the same bed. I've been suffocating for a week but I know this is not the right time to focus on that. Because this time is different and things aren't cool between me and a group of men we just pranked. It's not actually all of them who're our victims. Just one of them but then, you knew how a group of friends react to such misunderstandings nowadays and it's pathetic. If you don't get it, you're pathetic as well.

'Man, look, I am sorry if ever I offended you or something but 'this' is our job.' I heard Luke explained.

I am standing right behind him; completely terrified. I don't really like these kinds of situations when it comes to our career. Sometimes, people are too serious with their own businesses that they forget how to ride the pranks and jokes of others. They forget how to laugh with it, how to deal with it. They pathetically forget how to have fun.

'I don't care about your fucking job. You're here to do such nasty things towards me and you'll say sorry because you just had fun of me?' The man blurted out. I think he's really mad about it.

Okay. What made him mad is because Luke and passed by their rounded table outside a branch of a restaurant and we did silly stuffs in front of him. Luke even asked if he enjoys it and he gave us a laugh, telling us to fuck off. We never really did anything to him but to ourselves so I don't fucking get it that he's firing up against us.

'We had fun of ourselves, bro. We just want to see what your reaction will be if we do kinds of stuffs like that. You don't have to worry about your dignity being a funny thing.' I interrupted.

He glared at me that I am sure I am starting to feel like shrinking off the ground and I want to vanish with a pop; like a bubble.

'Well my reaction is this. I am mad because you guys acted silly in front of me and you are recording it and you're planning to post it to the fucking YouTube channel of yours to be watched by your motherfucking fans. And then they'll laugh at me for what my reaction is.' He demanded.

'Well if I was them and I am currently watching this now, I'd be much more rolling on the floor laughing because you're Goddamn funny. You're too over it and you're too mad about it that I can't stop thinking if you're still normal because we didn't even do anything to you and you're acting like we did something to you.' Luke took a step closer to him.

I can smell some fight now. It's everywhere in this kind of atmosphere.

'Luke, stop. Let's just go. Let's pass on this shit.' I tugged on Luke's arm to pull him away from the tension but he jerks back.

'No, Jai. This man is really pissing me off.'

'You're the one who's pissing me off.'

'Shut the fuck up or I'll burn the hell out of you!' Luke began to yell. I can tell it when he's mad and now I will tell you he is.

The man stormed to where Luke is, his friend behind him, circling around us as he grabbed Luke by the collar of his dress, pressed his nose against Luke's cheek. It made me felt like throwing up.
