TRAINING AND A SURPRISE

In a large clearing, in the middle of a forest, it's deadly quiet, suddenly Emmett is flung through the air. Falling hard on his back but he doesn't let that stop him, he springs back up and faces the person who had thrown him, "Again." He tells Jasper. 

Rosalie shakes her head and playfully rolls her eyes at her husband, as Carlisle, Esme, and Alice watch. Jasper just smirks at his brother.

Edward and Bella finally at the clearing, getting out of his car and grabbing hands. Edward stops Bella before she can walk over to the others. He looks down at her wrist and sees a bracelet with a wolf charm. Bella looks to see what he's looking at and covers it with her other hand, "It's a graduation present." Edward smiles slightly before they walk over the Cullen's and Hales.

About ten minutes later, Edward looks off to the other side of the clearing, "They're here."

Eight giant wolves emerge from the tree line, all on edge just like the vampires. Emmett recognizes Paul in his wolf form, both itching for a rematch.

"They don't trust us in their human forms." Edward tells his family and Bella.

"They came. That's what matters." Carlisle tells him.

Bella then sees a rustic brown wolf and slightly smiles, "Hey Jake." 

Carlisle looks towards Edward, "Will you translate?"

Edward nods, and Carlisle walks out to stand in front of his family to address the wolves across the clearing.

"Jasper has experience with newborns. With his help, we can all learn how to defeat them." Carlisle says.

"They wanna know how newborns differ from us." Edward translates.

"They're a great deal stronger than us, because their own human blood lingers in their tissues. Our kind is never more physically powerful than in our first several months of this life." Carlisle explains before nodding to Jasper.

Jasper steps forward, with his hands behind his back, his military training coming forward, "Carlisle is right. That is why they are created. A newborn army doesn't need thousands, like a human army would. No human could stand against them. There are two main important things to remember, first never let them get their arms around you. They will crush you instantly. And the second never go for the obvious kill. They will be expecting that, and you will lose."

"Emmett." Jasper calls out to his brother, who steps forward after kissing Rosalie on the side of the head, "Don't hold back."

Emmett smirks at Jasper, "Not in my nature." 

Emmett then charges at Jasper and locks arms with him, before flinging Jasper onto his back. Jasper springs up and is practically a blur when he charges at Emmett, ducking under his arms and throwing Emmett into a tree. 

The vampires and wolves watch Emmett and Jasper spare for a few more minutes before Jasper knocks Emmett down to the ground hard. Jasper smirks down at Emmett, "Never lose focus."

Edward and Carlisle step forward to spare. They fight for a few minutes before Edward gets Carlisle down, and looks back at Jasper for approval. When not looking Carlisle springs up, and takes Edward down to the ground. Jasper rolls eyes, "Never turn your back on the enemy."

Jasper spares with Rosalie and Alice. And just before they are ready to call it a day, suddenly they hear clapping and all look up to see three figures standing in a tree causing the vampires and wolves to all become defensive.

"Who are you?" Edward growls causing one to let out a sarcastic laugh.

"Wow I know I've been gone awhile but did you all really forget me?" One of the figures said, Emmett and Rosalie perking up instantly knowing who it was.
