Me and Indigo sat on the opposite side of the room to Hannah and George. I'd say Indigo is practically one of my best friends here, and her being her knew that I felt uncomfortable. "Are you alright Bails?" She asks smiling nervously. I can't bring myself to answer so I just nod. Indigo grabs my hand and squeezes it reassuringly. The thing about me and Indigo is that we can do something like hold hands and it's completely innocent, there are no underlying feelings, we are just friends.

Music production is all about making backing tracks, and music videos and stuff like that. To start with our teacher Mrs Lewis made us each play a short tune on the piano at the front. Indigo was obviously amazing, Hannah was also really good but when it got to George it was almost laughable. I went up and played some of one of my original songs. Mrs Lewis was very impressed staying that I was the best yet, I was happy I had one up on George.
"Okay, well done everyone. For your first assignment I want you to get into groups of four." Mrs Lewis stated.
I looked at Indigo who grabbed my hand and dragged me over to Hannah and George. "Hi guys, is it okay if we all go together?" Indigo queried, I just looked at her as if she was insane.
"That would be great," Han said, staring at me softly through her blue eyes.
"Definitely!" George agreed.

After an hour of organising arrangements etc, class was over. I'd actually spoke to George and Hannah which was a start. I'd agreed with George that I'd spend the night back in my dorm with him. I shoved various sheet music in my bag and realised that Hannah was waiting for me. I looked up at her, "Can I help you?" I said it more sharply than I'd intended to, however I noticed Hannah's eyes soften as she sat back down. She sighed heavily. "Bailey, I'm so sorry."
"About what?" I looked at her, not wanting to forgive her but knowing that I couldn't help it.
"About how I messed you around, Bails I ruined everything for you. You broke up with Charl because of me and all I do is hurt you," she looked at me with those eyes, those eyes that I could forgive no matter what the
transgression.
"Don't worry about it," I said throwing my backpack onto my shoulders, "we're back together." I spun my back on her, not wanting to see the face that caused me so much pain, and with that I walked out and left her.

Our school has an actual coffee shop rather than a canteen, I walked in looking for any of my actual friends. I quickly spotted Brandon sat with the girls in a booth, I made my way to the booth before squeezing in beside Brandon. On the opposite side of the booth was Maddie and Indigo. "Hey man," Brandon said fist pumping me.
"Finally," Indigo started, "where did you get off to, I've been third wheeling for ages." As she said this I noticed the look Maddie gave Brandon, and realised something was going on. "Guys I'm gonna grab a bite to eat anyone want anything?" I asked.
"Can I just have a coffee Bails?" Maddie asked sweetly.
"Of course," I replied, "Come on Indi, I'll need help." Brandon shot me a look of appreciation and I knew what a good friend I was.

"What's with them?" I asked Indigo as we wait for our food and drinks.
"More to the point what's with you and Hannah?" Indigo looked straight at me, "I saw her waiting for you after class. Seriously Bailey you better not be sleeping with her, I know we're friends but I'm friends with Charl and,"
I cut her off, "it's not like that, she wanted to apologise."
"What for?" Indigo questioned,
"Everything," I sighed at Indigos pitying look. "Don't look at me like that!" I laughed.
The door opened and in entered Mr Davis. "I want my usual," he stated rudely to the cashier before shoving me to the side and standing next to indigo in the line. "Did you enjoy my class today? Indigo isn't it?" He asked her.
"It was brilliant," she responded enthusiastically. Our food came and as we picked it up, he made one last statement. "I've got my eye on you!"

As we walked away I looked at her, "That was weird." she shrugged. "he was just being friendly,"
"That wasn't friendly Ind, that was stalkerish."
"Whatever," she said as she slid into the booth beside Maddie, who I noticed was smiling uncontrollably.
