The weekend had been really good. Me and Charl had spent loads of time together just relaxing and having fun. But today was my first proper day of full classes, starting with my dance class. I'm a singer not a dancer so I was not looking forward to it.
I'd finally found studio 5 were my class would take place, I opened the door and found Brandon inside sat on the floor with Maddie and Indigo. "Hi guys," I say sitting alongside them smiling.
"Hey Bails," Indigo giggles, "I'm so excited for this class, I love dancing." I was happy to know that I did have some friends within this class. The door swung open and right away entered a man, in his early twenties, he looked young enough to be one of us. Not that he was though.
"Everyone get in a space for warm ups," he announced, his loud voice already demanding authority. I found a space next to Brandon and we began the class I was dreading. Within ten minutes of the class it was clear that I was hopeless, I couldn't stay in time with the music even in the simple combos we began with. Indigo on the other hand was a natural, she hit every move perfectly and on the beat, it amazed me how talented she actually is. It was obvious that our teacher, Mr Davis, was also very impressed with her technique and overall ability.By the end of class I was shattered and a bit dizzy, but I still had more classes. I hit the locker rooms with Brandon to clean off after class. Guess who we bumped into, none other than George. I looked at him, unsure of what to say, I hadn't been in my dorm for a while. Since the Hannah situation I had bunked in Brandon's room for 3 nights. "Hey bailey!" George called me over.
"Yeah." I respond shortly, I still can't believe how he treated Hannah.
"Mate it our room, I want you to still feel welcome, okay?" George looks me in the eye.
"Okay," I say and turn my back on him and face my locker. I ripped of my sweaty baseball jersey that I wore for dance and threw on a fresh nike hoodie and some jeans, completing the look with my favourite blue trainers. My next class was music production, which I was with Indigo with. I waited outside the girls locker room. Indigo exited smiling at me, her hair was down and naturally wavy, she wore a miniskirt with a ruffled blouse and blazer. "Ready to go?" I asked her. She linked my arm in return and away we went.Once we entered the classroom I saw Hannah, sat with George and this gut wrenching pain returned.
