Chen Luozhen rented two floors in the historic quarter of An City, deep among its winding alleys. Her and her daughter lived on the upper level, while the bottom floor was a storefront, half of which sold flowers and the other half shaved ice cream.

Chen Ruosu took a shower after finishing her lunch. Despite spending so much time outside, weathering heat and wind, her complexion remained amazingly healthy—slightly browned on her face but soft and fair elsewhere. After showering, she stood in front of the mirror, appreciating her porcelain-like complexion. Then, moving in closer, she separated her hair at the top, showing a scar beneath it that could only be seen when moved aside.

Her head injuries had caused partial memory loss, and she couldn't recall what happened during that time period.

Chen Ruosu once went missing for two years and had no recall of what happened. She dimly remembered attending school the day before her disappearance, when her parents had not yet split and her mother was still working. That evening, they had a lovely family dinner together. She went missing the next afternoon, after school. Everything from the day she disappeared forward was utterly obliterated from her mind.

During the two years she was absent, her mother relentlessly sought for her, finally losing her job as a result of the obsession. Her father, unable to cope, divorced her mother and relocated overseas.

Finally, three years ago, her mother found her at the bridge where she had vanished. Chen Ruosu awoke with just memories of the events preceding her abduction, owing to injuries, mainly to her head. All memories of the two-year experience were completely erased.

Jiang Qianyu rarely scheduled work on his days off, firmly distinguishing between his professional and personal lives. Yuzhen was aware of Jiang Qianyu's routine, so she knew he would normally spend his days off at home.

As planned, when she arrived at the villa, she heard piano music coming from the piano room. The door was left open, and Yuzhen stood outside, watching the figure inside. Even at home, he dressed elegantly, resembling a royal as he played.

Yuzhen and Jiang Qianyu went to the same high school. He excelled academically, was a superb basketball player, could play the piano, and hails from an affluent family. His appearance exuded brilliance, making him appear unattainable to many, and he became a heartthrob for many fans.

If Lin Qingmiao hadn't died, and if Yuzhen hadn't resembled Lin Qingmiao, this man would have remained an unattainable fantasy for the rest of her life.

After finishing the work, Jiang Qianyu observed Yuzhen standing at the doorway. With no change in mood, he casually inquired, "What brings you here so early?"

Yuzhen had recently taken over BLUE, chosen their new spokesman, and now had to plan both a premiere event and a celebratory feast. After some thought, she decided to merge these two occasions into one wonderful event. Yuzhen planned a highly publicized debut, even inviting several top tier celebrities to support the event. Naturally, having Jiang Qianyu present would make it even more impactful.

Who would dare underestimate Yuzhen's power if even the president of Mythril Eagle came out to support her?

However, convincing Jiang Qianyu would be difficult because he disliked social events. Yuzhen approached him and crouched down, bending her head back to stare at him. "Brother Qianyu, BLUE will have its debut event in a few days. Could you come by if you have some free time?"

"As you know, I don't enjoy noisy places."

Yuzhen bit her lip, sounding slightly hurt. "Can't Brother Qianyu give me some face this once? I've put a lot of effort into my debut."
