Meanwhile, Taehyung stood still, his face cold and unreadable as always, though internally, his thoughts raced. His heart pounded at Namjoon's words, but he maintained his aloof demeanor. Years of training in the field had taught him how to mask even the slightest reaction, and now, he relied on that skill more than ever.
"Does he know?" Taehyung wondered silently, carefully tuning into the conversation without making it obvious.
Namjoon chuckled darkly, taking a sip from his glass as he leaned back, the confidence in his posture radiating danger.
"Heard you're still on that little mission of yours to knock that Jeon Jungkook out?" one of Namjoon's partners asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Of course," Namjoon replied smoothly, his lips curling into a smirk. "But before that, I need to uncover those daring enough to spy on me. They think they can outsmart me and steal the diamond... amusing, isn't it?"
The partners laughed, but Taehyung's stomach churned. Every word Namjoon spoke felt like a blade pressing closer to the truth they were so desperately trying to hide.
"I have my suspicions," Namjoon continued, his voice lowering but still sharp enough for Taehyung to catch. "Someone in my circle isn't who they claim to be. It's only a matter of time before I find out who they are. And when I do... well, let's just say they'll regret ever crossing me."
Taehyung took a steadying breath, careful not to let his expression falter. The air around them felt heavier, and though he exuded calm, his mind raced to figure out how much Namjoon actually knew. Was Namjoon bluffing? Did he truly suspect Jin and him?
"Well, you always know how to handle traitors, Namjoon," one of the men said, clinking his glass against Namjoon's.
Namjoon grinned, his gaze sweeping across the room. "Traitors don't last long under my watch. I make sure of that."
Taehyung clenched his fists under the table, his nails digging into his palms. His cold, calculated mask never slipped, but inside, he was already planning his next move. This wasn't just a mission anymore. Namjoon was growing closer to the truth, and it was only a matter of time before someone paid the price.
"I need to warn Jin... and Jungkook. Fast." Taehyung thought. His loyalty wasn't just to the mission-it was to the people who meant everything to him. He couldn't afford to fail. Not now. Not ever.

A week had passed with both Jin and Taehyung trying to warn Jungkook about the looming danger. Each failed attempt only added to their unease. The mission was becoming more perilous, with Namjoon's actions hinting at his growing suspicions. Tonight was no exception.
Night had fallen, and Jin found himself seated in Namjoon's car, nervously fidgeting with his fingers. The silence was deafening, broken only by the faint hum of the engine.
"Where are we going?" Jin finally asked, his voice steady despite the storm in his mind.
"Somewhere fun... don't worry, just a casual auction," Namjoon replied with a smirk, keeping his eyes on the road.
"Oh," Jin muttered, nodding. He glanced out the window, trying to keep calm. An auction? What's Namjoon planning now?
Soon, the car pulled up in front of an extravagant auction house, its grandeur impossible to miss. The building was illuminated with golden lights, and luxury cars lined the entrance. Inside, the atmosphere was equally opulent. Men and women dressed in the finest designer clothing mingled, their conversations filled with casual mentions of millions and power plays.
