“Seriously...you had to waste so much money?” Jin whispered, his tone sharp, though his voice trembled slightly, wary of Namjoon overhearing their conversation.

Jungkook leaned in closer, his breath brushing against Jin’s ear. His smirk deepened, and his voice dropped to a near-growl. “Why not? My beloved husband liked it, and I know it’ll look stunning in our bedroom. Won’t it?”

Jin’s eyes widened, his lips parting slightly in shock. He fidgeted under Jungkook’s intense gaze, feeling the heat creep up his neck. His eyes darted to Namjoon, who was thankfully too engrossed in his own thoughts to notice the exchange.

“Stop it...” Jin hissed under his breath, trying to regain his composure.

Jungkook chuckled softly, leaning back in his seat but never taking his eyes off Jin. “Stop what, love? I’m just making sure our tastes are represented... publicly.”

Jin shot him a glare, his fingers curling into fists on his lap. “You’re going to blow our cover.”

Jungkook’s smirk didn’t waver. “Blow our cover? Or blow his mind when he realizes you’re mine?”

Jin glared at Jungkook, his face heating up as he tried to act unaffected. "Stop talking nonsense," he hissed under his breath, glancing at Namjoon, who was too busy sipping his drink to notice the tension.

Jungkook chuckled, his voice low and teasing. "Oh, come on, Jagiya. You can't deny you love it. And I’ll make sure it’s hung perfectly in our bedroom... right above the bed."

Jin’s eyes widened, and he coughed, quickly covering his mouth to hide his flustered reaction. “Shut up, Jungkook,” he whispered sharply, his fingers fidgeting with the hem of his shirt.

But Jungkook only leaned in closer, his breath warm against Jin’s ear. “You’ll thank me later,” he murmured, his tone dropping to something dangerously possessive.

Jin clenched his fists, his heart racing. He needed to keep it together, especially with Namjoon right beside him. But deep down, he couldn’t help but feel the thrill of Jungkook’s attention, no matter how infuriating it was.

Namjoon finally turned, raising an eyebrow. “Something wrong, Jin?”

Jin forced a bright smile, shaking his head. “No, nothing at all,” he said, his voice a little too cheerful.

Jungkook smirked knowingly, leaning back in his chair. “Good,” he said smoothly, “because the night’s just getting started.”

Jin stiffened, his heart racing. His gaze locked on the stage, trying to ignore Jungkook’s penetrating stare and the possessive energy radiating from him.

Namjoon finally broke the silence, his voice snapping Jin back to reality. “Well, Jungkook, it seems you’re willing to go to great lengths for a painting.”

Jungkook turned to Namjoon, his smirk replaced with an unreadable expression. “Some things are worth any price, don’t you think?”

Namjoon chuckled, but his eyes flickered with suspicion. “Indeed. I guess we all have something—or someone—we’re willing to fight for.”

Jin swallowed hard, caught between the tension of the two men. He didn’t need to look at either of them to know they were both silently battling for dominance—over the painting, over him, and perhaps even over the entire situation.

The auction continued, but for Jin, the real event was happening right here at this table.

In the middle of the auction, Jin leaned toward Namjoon, his voice soft and measured.
