Hello!! I'm back after a hot minute, and I'd just like to say I am so happy about the little bit of recognition I got in the past few days!! There isn't much for me to say, my updating schedule is a bit funky right now; I'll still do my best to keep it somewhat consistent!

I recently went on a cruise which denied me internet, so sorry for everyone who's been waiting!!

That's it about me! Getting into the chapter, enjoy chapter 6 of unlikely roomates!! [I had to double check which chapter this was]

[I'd just like to make it clear, this chapter takes place before new tensions just to get an insight on Sasuke's pov, the next chapter will continue with the thought of Sasuke leaving the dorm! Anywho enjoy my lovelies! <33 ]

Sasuke has always preferred silence.

It wasn't that he disliked noise, but there was a clarity in quiet moments that he couldn't find anywhere else. Growing up in a house where quiet often meant tension, he'd taught himself to reshape it into something comfortable—a space where he could think, plan, and simply be.

Now, as he walked through campus, the cool breeze ruffling his dark hair, Sasuke found himself relishing the quiet around him. He adjusted the strap of his bag on his shoulder, his mind already sorting through the tasks he needed to complete that day.

The library was his first stop.

Sasuke pushed open the heavy door and stepped into the familiar space, the scent of aged paper and faintly dusty air greeting him. The library was one of the few places on campus where he could escape the constant hum of life outside. Unlike most college students, he wasn't against having stuff to do. If it kept him busy and in his own space what was there to dislike? Here, he didn't have to deal with the noise of students talking over each other in the quad or the faint, irritating buzz of Naruto's voice in his ears, dragging him into one ridiculous tangent after another.

He didn't hate it, though; the noise, the chaos. Naruto.

Sasuke frowned, shaking the thought away as he made his way to his usual spot on the second floor, tucked away in a corner near the philosophy section. It was quiet, secluded, and overlooked a part of campus where no one ever seemed to linger. He dropped his bag onto the table, pulled out his laptop, and got to work.

The hours in the library passed quickly, as they always did when Sasuke was focused. Between revising his research paper on postmodern ethics and flipping through dense texts that most people wouldn't bother to crack open, he found a sense of accomplishment. It wasn't exciting work, but Sasuke didn't need excitement.

Distractions were unnecessary, he reminded himself.

But they were always there, whether he wanted them to be or not.
