Another cosmic event of a worldly descent, another face of correction in reality. The jade of the light, the emerald of the dark, both mixing in motion to understand their face. The subtle cry and the unsubtle grinning. Just another excuse to go crazy.

"What?" Laura's voice boomed.

Unknown what to do, unknowing purview, decadent revelation versus the right to be true.

Go crazy, go mad, they're all evil and they'll always lie to you. Go home, never go home, the pain is there so don't.

Words mount, paramount thoughts and ideas prying.

"Why isn't she moving?"

"Gyah!" lowly yelps Miku, sacrificing the physical being of Ofan Laha, using it as a springboard away from the energy site. "Gr..." She lowly grumbles in pain. She huffs and puffs, trying to regain her breath.

Miku looked at her leg—she had lost one. Normally, this would be cause for alarm, but the power of a Crown can make this a trivial thing.

Without hesitation, Laura cut her palm open as she chanted eldritch phrases. A giving rotation of red sigils and runes encircled her palm as she clasped Miku's.

"Here, use my blood to regenerate. I'm converting it to Fervour you can use it," she smiles at Miku.

Miku lunged her body towards Laura. Apparently, that merited a kiss from Miku, making Laura's heart race just a little bit more.

But they're not out of worries as of yet. The attack of the Calamity Princess was supposed to be a large, long-lasting blast or slash of energy, but as they stare into the rising tide of light, it doesn't seem to be stopping!

"Shouldn't... it be..." Miku spoke but Laura understood the message.

"Yeah. It's... It's not stopping." She makes an observation. "Not only that," she worryingly says, "it's rising!"

The energy explodes into a pillar of Spirit power, as if to describe how infinitesimal they are compared to her brute strength. They are nothing against a strength reaching across all sides, a light that burns all materials, and a darkness that swallows all.

And still, it resembles that of a meltdown of Reiryoku. As Laura studies it from the distance they've been shot to, it was clear that the scales have just tipped, and the situation has escalated.

To add even more of a wrench in the works of this complicated situation, Natsumi has not moved ever since entering into her Inverted state. Natsumi's form appeared quasi-formed, nebulous, uncertain of its true manifestation. With Keter Tsahov on the head of Natsumi, Laura thought that she'd be able to maintain her personality and prevent another disaster. It seems she was half right; the crisis was averted, but it doesn't look like Natsumi's moving.

She was like a statue, a statue in deep thought.

---

A numbness grips her legs, an ichor born of the mind. It clings and spreads, cold and suffocating, the stain of fear etched deep—scars left by her past. In this atmosphere of despair, where hope flickers dimly, most would collapse. Natsumi is no different, her knees and hands plunged into the darkness.

Her hands tremble as she raises them, peeling away the mask she had worn for so long. The falseness shatters like fragile glass. She stood bare, her truth unhidden—a girl trapped in a child's body, shaped by insecurity and abuse.

She cries. Natsumi cries.

Why does she cry?

Does she not see? Does she not know?
