Song- I'll Come Crashing By Giant Dog

Did I say earlier was Rock bottom? No this must be rock bottom. It's almost ironic they couldn't hear my keys dangle from the door. Couldn't hear the "honey I'm home" distracted in their own horny world was Derrick and my step mother banging it out on the bed I paid for in the apartment I rent. It's ridiculous it's cheesy and it could only get more ironic
"Jane you're home early"
He doesn't even try to hide Velma with the blanket he hogs that flimsy piece of fabric all to himself it's almost typical
Velma is obviously ashamed
"Janey it's not what it looks like! Me and your father are having problems Derrick was just consoling me I swear nothing happened"
I'm fuming
"Consoling you! You've gotta be shitting me Velma god I knew you were low but not fuck my fiancé low"
I seethed at Derrick the scum himself
"Ex fiancé! you're scum I can't even look at you"
I pointed to Velma
" get out of my apartment"
"Janey can't we talk about this"?
"Get out"!
As I walk her out she has the audacity
"You're not going to tell your father are you"?
SLAM!
I turn from the door to the sad attempt at guilt in front of me
"I'm so sorry Jane but this is just a hiccup we are strong enough to get thru this"
"You have 2weeks to get your stuff and leave I never ever want to see you again"
His facade was easily broken
"You can't do this to me I have squatters rights. This is my place too".
The anger fell for that moment what came over me was sadness and betrayal. The sad thing is I'm not even surprised. My heart wasn't broken but this image I built for myself was. I always played it safe I picked jobs that I knew would pay well even if I didn't like them, I stayed in a loveless relationship for years because it was safe, secure, I didn't excel in anything I was just average. I gave the stranger in my apartment one last look and left.
