DabiHakws (Hero Au)

Hero Dabi AU
(Dabi being a smoker head cannon is strong within me)

Keigo was a prodigy and Touya was a rowdy teen.

Keigo Takami, was on the fast track to becoming an amazing hero.

Touya Todoroki was an Amazing but not well behaved student. He often would pierce himself and disregard the rules, but staying on task enough to keep going on his recommendation.

Touya would be graduating soon and Hawks was already better than most people his age.

Endeavor realized his tactics won't work on setting his son straight, so he reached out for help.

The commission and UA thought maybe the two working together might rub off some good influence on the young Hero.

At first Touya was against the whole idea. Having to hang out with someone a year younger that's framed as some sort of gem feels like pain. His father threatens to pull him for the school if he does not follow through with the "hang out", which are basically Touya getting schooled by some red pigeon.

Keigo is no dummy, he figured Touya couldn't stand his guts first meeting. Unlike Touya he wouldn't even try to against this order.

Patrols were such a pain to them both. Touya was a smart ass and Keigo couldn't keep his mouth shut.

Soon enough they really did start rub off on each other.

Years later, the order stopped but their communication did not.

Keigo Takami is known as Hawks and the number two hero.

Touya Todoroki is known as Dabi and scores at being the number 10 hero.

They try to keep their personal and work lives separate till Hawks comes into his father's agency on business. Endeavor isn't around for him but Dabi is.

Currently both men are in pro hero Dabis office meanwhile the number one hero is away.

Hawks is up against a door and Dabi kissing him passionately. Slowly they pull away, but Dabi doesn't want to stop just yet. Again he leans in hastily but Hawks blocks his lips with his hand.

"You know your dad will be pissed about this right?" Hawks asked while looking directly at his partner.

"My old man is off with shoto and his friends. And Kissing isn't illegal birdie." Dabi replied when he moved Hawks hand away.

"I know I'm irresistible but save it hot stuff. You're coming over later anyway." Hawks gave him a kiss on the cheek before going to sit on his chair.

Dabi followed Hawks and put his leaving back against the desk.

"What we do behind closed doors is going to be public one day you know?" Dabi spoke while looking over to his boyfriend writing something down.

"Yea just not today." Hawks said continuing to write.

Hawks looked at him taking a break from the writing.

"I'm keeping my promise after this mission it'll be public information." He said before continuing to write.

"3 years together, isn't that insane Kei?" Dabi asked while Hawks checked his phone.

"Hey no names on the job." Hawks replied while getting up.

He handed Dabi whatever he was writing

Before giving a kiss goodbye, Endeavor just arrived.

Touya read  it once he left.

"I love you and I'll remind you tonight ( ˘ ³˘)♥"

'Why the fuck did it take him so long to write this?' He thought to himself.

Bonus from DabiHawks

Touya sat outside the Todoroki home, the sun had just gone down but Hawks was still caught up with work.

He decided to take a a smoke outside since he really doesn't have anything better to do.

He exhaled when his peace was disturbed.

"I thought you told everyone you stopped smoking?"

This made his smooth release turn into a coughing fit.

"Shoto, I thought you had school work." He said putting the cigarette out.

"I finished early." Shoto responded while going to sit next to his eldest brother.

"Prodigy and a brat" Touya said jokingly.

"I am not a brat." 

Touya just laughed and explained it's a joke.

"I see, but what are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to be with your... 'friend'?" Shoto looked down for a second before using the term friend.

"Was it Natsuo who let it slip?" Touya asked annoyed.

"No, I seen mom and she mentioned something like it."

"Ugh mom" Touya spoke.

"It's not her fault she was just excited about you being with someone." Shoto protested his tone.

Suddenly a text alert went off.

Touya stood up and grabbed his bag. He turned to Shoto.

"I guess you're right, but you want to know a secret?"

Shoto responded with a yes.

"Me and him are going public instead of informing our old man." Touya smiled.

"I have to go but don't tell sis yet, she'll already be sad she's the last one to know before we go public."

He left his brother in shock and informed his boyfriend of his reaction.

Hawks convinced Dabi to try to quit nicotine again after his story.
