When I was talking to one of my friends, I realized that many people go through similar situations. Like, what if Devika didn't return the love? What if the misunderstanding between Devika and Devi never got resolved?
At the end of the story, I've shown a conversation where Devika was simply spending time with Devi. Devika had no hope of whether Devi will ever love her back.
Few back chapters, Devi on the other hand, was trying to move on with her life so she can live without Devika. Devi was living in the tiny memories—the way she loved biryani, her fondness for sweets, and the joy she felt while listening to Honey Singh's songs. She's holding onto all those memories, with no hope left. Her love lives on in them.
Love isn't always about happy endings or grand declarations. Sometimes, it's about silent sacrifices, unspoken promises, and the courage to hold on even when the world moves on. This story isn't just about Devika and Devi—it's about anyone who has ever loved selflessly, without expectations, and found beauty in the fleeting moments shared.
To those whose love stories remain incomplete, remember this: We never became together, never got married, and never defined our bond, yet the love remained untouched, unwavering. My heart still beats for her, and it always will. Every moment spent with her is timeless, a connection far deeper and purer than any name or tradition could ever hold.
For all those who didn't get a happy ending in their lives, here are these lines:
"I agree that love feels incomplete, but from my side, it is still complete. my loved her in a way no one else ever did—that's the truth, my heart. Whether we end up together or not, the love from my side will always remain complete."
But hope should never be given up, because as our Devi said, "Who would have thought that a happy ending was written for my life too?"
And so, our story comes to an end. Thank you for being a part of the journey.
I know it was hard to read with so many emotional scenes. Love you all! you all supported me like angels. Thank you.
