Finally Coming Undone

Chapter 5

              "Aurora, no! I thought Fern told you to take the day off, relax and not think about Martin?" Diego says as he stands in front of the camera. I called the group chat that included the boys as soon as I decided to go to the hotels to see if I could find Martin.

              "Yes he did but guess what I'm not going to because I'm not going to relax until I find out what's going on. I mean for fucks sake I'm the one who hasn't ever fucking had an orgasm and HE'S the one hiding and ignoring us? I'm the one who should be embarrassed, not him!" I say as I continue getting ready.

             "Aurora, it's best to not go. Just stay home. Or at least wait for one of us to go with you." He says as he gets ready as well.

             "No. If I know him like I think I do he should be waking up soon. I want to see what he's doing and I'll catch him off guard." I say as I run to my room to grab my keys. When I get back to the kitchen I see Ximena, Isabella, and Daniel joined the chat. "Oop. I forgot this was in the group chat." I say as I grab my phone from where it was propped up on the table.

           "Rory, Bryan told us and we don't think you should go. Wait for me at least. I'm not working today." I hear Isabella say as I close my front door.

           "Sorry, can't I'm already walking out of my house."

            "You mean apartment." Daniel says.

             "What?" Diego responds.

             "She means Apartment. It may be weirdly built but it's an apartment, not a house." He responds with a matter of fact tone.

            "It is called Enclave Apartments" Ximena chimes in.

            "You guys know what I mean. Look, I just got to my car. I'll talk with you guys later." And with that I hang up before they are able to get another word out.

             I pulled up to the hotel that charged him first. I drive around the parking lot to see if I can spot his car, which I don't end up seeing. I park and get off and head into the lobby.

            "Hi ma'am, welcome in. Do you have a reservation? Check in isn't until 1PM" The lady at the desk says as soon as she sees me walking.

            "Hi, no I don't but I was wondering if you can give me the information on a guest. Martin Gonzalez?" I say while looking around to see if I'm able to see him in the lobby.

             "I'm sorry ma'am. I'm not allowed to give anyone information on our guests." She says with a smile on her lips.

             "I understand but It's kind of urgent. Can you at least tell me if he's here?" I say with a pleading look.

            "I'm sorry ma'am but I don't want to risk my job. If that is all I will have to ask you to leave." And with that she turns and goes into a door that's behind her.

              It was like that at the other three hotels. I wasn't able to get any information from anyone. I just wasted my time going and thinking they would give it to me just like that. I even thought about lying and saying I was his wife, hoping they would tell me something, but they didn't. On my way home I decided to stop by Diego's house to try and distract myself.

           "I knew they weren't going to give you any information." Diego says as we stand around the kitchen and eat the sandwiches he made us. As soon as he opened the door he could just tell I didn't get any information. "This is real life, not a TV show. They don't just give out information like nothing." He continues while taking another bite.
