She stepped into the bedroom with wide eyes. The room was fully decorated. There were bright beautiful colors everywhere. The walls were a bright orange, the bed had an Hawaiian themed comforter set and carpet. Then there was a balcony. She walked towards it and opened the door. She walked outside and you could see the city under the night sky. Chicago really did look beautiful at night. She turned around and looked at Vincent, "I can't believe you did all this Vincent. Everything is so perfect."

He stepped closer to her, "I at least wanted you to feel comfortable here. I'm not going to be the best person to live with Tara. And i don't think what you're trying to accomplish is going to work, but what i can say is I've never anyone more or honest than you. Not even my men."

This man surprised her for the second time tonight. He truly left her speechless. Everything he's done today really touched her heart in ways no one else has. "Thank you so much Vincent. Today has been amazing."

He cracked a grin and nodded. "I'll let you get ready for bed Tara. It's getting late. I'll see you in the morning."
"Good night Vincent and thank you again." She grinned back.

He turned and left out the room and closed the door behind him. Tara gets in the shower to wash the night away. After she gets out, she lay in her bed. She had been thinking about him all night, even in the shower. Strangely she couldn't stop. This was her first night there and things were going incredibly well. She had high hopes for her mission now. As she there still thinking about him, her eyes finally drifted close.

The next thing she knew, the sun was peeking through her window. She got up and did her usual routine and headed downstairs. She went into the kitchen and saw the chief making breakfast. "Good morning, something smells delicious." She said with a pleasing smile on her face.

The chief laughed, "Good morning and thank you. I try my best to make sure every meal is delicious." He reaches his and out for her to shake it. "Hi I'm Adam."

She reach for his hand, "I'm Tara. But you probably already knew that."

He laughs again and nod his head, "Yes i did. Me and Mr. Redello is very close. I've been working for his family for years."

She seemed curious by his statement, "So you've known him since he was a boy?"

"Oh yes! He was a very misbehaved little boy but also the kindest one I've ever met."

She laughed sarcastically, "Him? Sweet? I can't picture that."

The man joined her in laughter then pointed out the obvious, "Well you did see your room. That was all him."

She suddenly remembered what he did for her. He really was sweet. I guess he was only like that when he wanted to be, she wondered.

"I guess you're right Adam." She admitted.

He put some food on her plate and handed it to her. The plate consisted of pancakes, bacon, eggs, and sausage. It really was a fully meal. Her mouth started to salivate just from the look of it. She immediately dug in.

"Thanks Adam." She said while stuffing her face with food.

He watched her eat and called Vincent to come down but to his surprise, Vincent was already at the bottom step.

"What sounds like hungry ass bear in my home?" He said mockingly.

Adam pointed at Tara. And when she turned around there was syrup dripping down her chin. Vincent grabbed a napkin and wiped it off. While laughing he said, "What the hell? Why are you eating like that?"

She was so embarrassed at herself, "It's sooo good."

Once she swallowed her food, she said, "Good morning Vincent. Sorry you had to see that. I usually don't eat like a pig." She giggled shyly.

"It's okay. But honestly i would believe otherwise. And just to let you know, we are leaving at the same time this morning so hurry and get ready for work." He demanded.
