"But... But we just got here." She said looking at him in complete confusion. Why did he want to leave so early? I mean this event was obviously important or he wouldn't have come.

He looked at her and furrowed his brows, "I just..." he suddenly stopped and Tara knew that he was struggling to say something by reading the expression on his face. She's never seen him like this before. He's usually arrogant and says whatever he wants but now it seems he's a little... Nervous??

"You just what?" She tried to help him complete his sentence but he just kept staring at her with that intense gaze. It was really starting to make her feel uncomfortable.

Then he finally spoke, "I just want to go somewhere with just you. Well just us." And that made her completely speechless. This man just kept on surprising her tonight, for the second time since they met. She thought making him feel for her was going to be difficult but it didn't feel hard at all. Or maybe he's just a gentleman and just being nice.

"And where do you want to go?" She asked with immense curiosity. She really wanted to see where he had planned to take her.

He cracked a sly sexy grin, and stuck his arm out for her to grab it, "You'll see." Then she smiled back at him and she followed in suit.

On their way to the car, Lucas was confused as to why they had to leave so early. "Sir why are we leaving now? We just got here an hour ago."

He turned to Lucas and became agitated. Lucas was his best friend but he also worked for him. He had no right to question him. "Lucas. Who pays you?"

Lucas scratched his head nervously, "You do sir."

"Very good. Now drive us to my favorite spot. And please don't ask anymore questions."

"Yes sir." Lucas obediently did as he was told. He opened the car door Tara and shut the door behind her. Vincent didn't want the door opened for him. It made him feel uncomfortable having another man open a door for him.

On their way to Vincent's favorite spot, he kept staring at Tara. She could feel him gaping at her. She turned to him and asked, "Is there something on face Vincent? Because you keep staring at me."

He chuckled, clearly amused, "No. You just look really beautiful tonight and i can't stop staring. Am i not allowed to stare at my girl friend?"

This man was really good with his words. She felt like he always knew the right thing to say to her. He made her feel beautiful more than anyone ever has tonight. "Thank you Vincent i really appreciate it." She smiled at him and tucked a piece of hair behind her ear timidly.

Moments later they arrived to the highest peak in Chicago. Lucas got out of the car and opened the door for Tara. When she got out of the car, she walked around it and was in awe at what she saw. There was a ledge that loomed over the whole city. She began to walk closer to it. You could see everything from there. The beautiful city lights lingering in the night, cars bustling that looked like a thousand ants. You could also see the hospital where she worked. The view was absolutely breathtaking.

"Vincent this is beautiful. And you can see the stars so clearly from up here." She said as she looked up at the sky. The stars twinkled bright that night. It kind of looked as if they were dancing.

While she was in a trance, Vincent slowly walked up behind and placed a hand on her shoulder. She shivered at his touch. He began to move his hand downward until it wrapped around her body. She was stunned at how quickly her body responds to him. In spite of not knowing him very long at all.

He began to pull her closer to him and held her there as both of them lifted their heads to watch the stars. In that quiet yet enchanting moment, there were no words that needed to be said. The world around them began to disappear and it was just the two of them that remained.
