Ripples danced across the pond's surface, distorting the reflection of a stranger with sakura pink hair. Goku leaned closer, her new form mirroring her movements with uncanny precision.

"This is really me now, huh?" she murmured, her voice higher and softer than before. The change was jarring, yet oddly fascinating. She flexed her fingers, marveling at their newfound delicacy.

Chi-Chi's face flashed in her mind. Goku's stomach clenched. How would she react? Would she even recognize her?

"I've gotta tell her," Goku said, straightening up. "But man, this is gonna be weird."

She took a deep breath, filling her lungs with crisp mountain air. The scent of pine and wildflowers seemed sharper somehow, more vivid. Her new body hummed with an unfamiliar energy, lighter yet more vulnerable than her Saiyan form.

"Alright, no use standing around," she declared, clenching her fists. "Time to face the music!"

Goku turned from the pond, each step careful and measured as she started down the familiar path home. Her heightened senses picked up every rustle of leaves, every snap of twigs beneath her feet. A bird's song pierced the air, making her jump slightly.

"Whoa, everything's so... intense," she mused, glancing around. "Is this how regular humans feel all the time?"

The forest seemed both familiar and alien. Goku's mind raced, trying to process the flood of new sensations while grappling with the enormity of her transformation.

"Chi-Chi's gonna freak," she muttered, pushing aside a low-hanging branch. "But maybe... maybe this could be good for us? I mean, I can still fight, but now I can be around more too, right?"

The thought gave her a spark of hope. She quickened her pace, determination building with each step.

"Yeah, that's it! I'll show her this isn't all bad. We can make this work!"

Goku emerged from the forest, her home visible in the distance. She paused, heart pounding, resolve firming.

"Here goes nothing," she whispered, striding forward to face whatever came next.

----

Goku's hand hovered over the door handle, her heart thundering in her chest. The familiar scent of Chi-Chi's cooking wafted through the cracks, intensified by her heightened senses. She took a deep breath, pink strands of hair fluttering around her face.

"Come on, Goku. You've faced way scarier things than this," she muttered, steeling herself.

With a swift motion, she pushed the door open. Warm air enveloped her, carrying the comforting aroma of home. For a moment, she stood frozen in the doorway, drinking in the familiar sights with new eyes.

The sound of chopping from the kitchen snapped her back to reality. Chi-Chi's back was turned, her movements precise as she prepared dinner. Goku's throat tightened, words catching as she tried to speak.

"Ch-Chi-Chi?" she finally called out, her voice higher and softer than she expected.

The chopping stopped abruptly. Goku's heart raced, her palms sweaty as she waited for Chi-Chi to turn around. A million thoughts raced through her mind.

"Will she even recognize me? What if she-"

"Goku?" Chi-Chi's voice cut through her thoughts. "Is that you? You're home early. Did something happen during training?"

Goku swallowed hard, her new form feeling more alien than ever. "You could say that," she replied, trying to inject her usual cheerfulness into her tone. "Um, Chi-Chi... there's something I need to tell you."
