Golden eyes scanned the horizon, calculating. Freeza's new form—a petite, battered teenage girl—stood naked at the edge of the Son family farm. Every muscle ached to obliterate these wretched Saiyans. But exhaustion clawed at her, cuts stinging, stomach cramping.

Must... survive.

She stumbled towards the farmhouse, vision blurring. A figure bounded over—spiky hair, wide grin. Goten.

He skidded to a halt. "Whoa! Are you okay?"

Freeza's lip curled. Monkey spawn. But desperation won out. She forced a weak nod.

"Here, take this." Goten yanked off his shirt, draping it over her shoulders. "You look like you could use a meal too. C'mon!"

His earnest concern grated on her nerves. Yet... warmth bloomed in her chest. Unfamiliar. Unsettling.

"Thank you," Freeza murmured, hating how genuine it sounded.

Goten beamed. "I'm Goten. What's your name?"

Name. She needed a name. Think. "Frost," she blurted.

"Cool name! Let's get you inside, Frost."

As they walked, Freeza's mind raced. Information. Shelter. Food. Then destroy them all.

But first... survive.

---

Through the kitchen window, Chi-Chi's eyes narrowed. She scrubbed a plate with unnecessary force, watching the strange girl follow Goten inside. Something wasn't right.

"Goten!" she called, voice sharp. "Who's your... friend?"

The girl—Frost—flinched at Chi-Chi's tone. Good. Let her be wary.

"Mom, this is Frost! She needs help," Goten chirped, oblivious to the tension.

Chi-Chi's gaze swept over Frost's bruised form, lingering on her haunting golden eyes. A pang of sympathy warred with suspicion.

"I see," she said, forcing a smile. "Well, let's get you cleaned up and fed, shall we?"

Frost bowed her head. "I... appreciate your kindness."

The words seemed to cost her. Chi-Chi's brow furrowed. What had this child endured?

Outside, Bardock Jr. lounged on the porch, senses prickling. He'd felt the newcomer's ki—weak, but... familiar? He couldn't shake the feeling he'd encountered it before.

His eyes locked on Frost as she emerged, now wearing Goten's oversized clothes. She moved with an unnatural grace, belying her battered state.

Bardock Jr. stood, curiosity burning. "Hey there," he called. "I'm Junior. Welcome to our farm."

Frost's golden eyes widened, a flicker of... recognition? Fear? It vanished instantly.

"A pleasure," she murmured.

Junior grinned, determined to unravel this mystery. "So, Frost... where are you from?"

---

Frost's jaw clenched imperceptibly. "Far from here," she replied, her voice carefully neutral.

Bardock Jr. nodded, his eyes searching. "Let me show you around," he offered, falling into step beside her.

As they walked, Freeza's thoughts raced. The orange gi hung loose on her frame, a constant reminder of her predicament. She stifled a bitter laugh. Wearing her enemy's colors—how the mighty had fallen.

"So, what brings you to our neck of the woods?" Bardock Jr. asked, his tone casual but eyes sharp.

Freeza's mind whirled, constructing a narrative. "I... I'm searching for something," she said softly. "A new beginning, perhaps."
