The duo continued walking at breakneck pace despite Alli's struggle to actually keep up. Excluding the occasional minute-long conversations, nothing pierced the serene silence during their walk.

Alli: How calm.

Very calm.

Eerily calm.

Dangerously calm.

...

Too calm.

Alli's mind lapped around her head, thinking of every single possible way the calm could be broken. Maybe it was her paranoia getting the best of her thoughts. Possibly just her provocative mind overreacting on the simplest things. Maybe a vision of the future. But Alli didn't realize how visibly she was "thinking," her face splattered with worry & discomfort.

Thankfully (or unfortunately, depending on how you look at it), Aizen noticed this. Just like what Alli did to him, he waved his hand in front of her face, snapping her out of the trance that was overthinking

Alli: A- huh?

Aizen: You looked lost in thought..

Alli: oh

Alli waved it off, the air a little awkward now as they continued their journey.

Aizen felt something weird. Like something was wrong with how he acted to Alli. He was so used to being alone, to just finding a way to survive the days of living by himself in the surrounding trees, that he kinda forgot what it was like to have company. Sure, he unintentionally murdered his parents in a cold-blooded killing spree, but that never meant he was apathetic. Remorseless? Out of the window.

And yes, he did go on a killing spree which killed his parents and his entire village (incase you forgot)

Which was 6 years ago.
