𝔽𝕚𝕟𝕕𝕚𝕟𝕘 𝕃𝕠𝕧𝕖 𝔸𝕘𝕒𝕚𝕟! (Taegikook story)

Episode - 27

"What is this??"

Yoongi and Jong-ho are still sitting together in the same place where they first got into a relationship. While Jong-ho is trying to remind Yoongi of the past by talking about old things, Yoongi is slowly feeling weak and nervous.

Then suddenly Jong-ho, avoiding Yoongi's eyes, puts his hand in his pocket and takes out a small red box and shows it to Yoongi. Then Yoongi asks with surprise after seeing the box.

Jong-ho smiles, "Open it yourself and see. There is a surprise for you."

"You are not making fun of me, are you?" Yoongi says looking at Jong-ho suspiciously.

The elder sighs and shakes his head, "Do you think I can play a prank on you with this little box?" then smiles again, "Don't worry. Just open it."

Yoongi takes the box from Jong-ho's hand but he still has some doubts in his mind.

Then as soon as he opens the box, his expression changes from doubt to surprise when he sees that there is a ring in the box which is shining brightly.

"R..... Ring?" Yoongi turns his head and looks at Jong-ho shockingly.

Jong-ho chuckles at Yoongi's reaction, "That too of diamond. This is a real diamond, you know."

Now Jong-ho feels that Yoongi is very happy after seeing that ring because Yoongi's eyes do not move from that box.

Being confident, Jong-ho asks smilingly, "So... You like....."

"I can't take it, hyung."

"W-What??"

And the next moment, Jong-ho is shocked to hear that Yoongi rejected his gift.

"I appreciate your effort and I know this gift would be very expensive but I can't take it. My conscience doesn't agree." Yoongi says as he returns the box to his hyung.

Jong-ho gets disappointed, "Yoongi-ah, I want everything to be fine between us, like before. I am trying my best but you are not understanding anything."

Yoongi furrows his eyebrows at Jong-ho, "I know hyung but this does not mean that you can convince me with such expensive things. There are many other ways to persuade and anyway..... I am not fond of all these things. You already know that."

"Yeah..... I know." Jong-ho rolls his eyes in disbelief, "How did I forget this?"

Now Yoongi stands up from his place, "If you are finished talking, should we leave from here? I have to go to work too."

Jong-ho also stands up, "Wait. I want to close this distance between us." Then holds Yoongi's both hands, "If you can't accept this ring then at least give me one last chance and come with me."

"Come with you?" Yoongi gets confused now, "What do you mean?"

Jong-ho smiles and takes out a file from his bag and shows it to Yoongi.

"I have taken an apartment in both our names in Ulsan. This is the papers. You also sign it and come live there with me." Jong-ho says, looking at Yoongi with loving eyes.

Being shocked, Yoongi says, "Are you mad? Why do I have to stay with you? My house is here and so are all the people I know. So why should I go to that unknown city?"

"Yoongi-ah... Listen to...."

"No hyung. I am not going with you."

"But......"

"I said NO......"

Seeing Yoongi's stubbornness, Jong-ho becomes sad and frowns.

With a hanging face, Jong-ho says, "I invested my entire life's earnings in this property. Thought that we both would stay together and give each other another chance."

"Hyung.... Please don't do....."

But Jong-ho interrupts Yoongi, "Only your signature remains on this paper. I will not force you at all, but if you do not sign on this then this property will get stuck in the middle and I too will not be able to live there no matter what."

"You mean if I just sign but will not live there then there is no problem?" Yoongi asks confusingly.

Jong-ho doesn't say anything and nods his head.

Yoongi asks again, "And if I don't sign then this property won't be yours either?"

"Yes. You are right." Now Jong-ho looks at Yoongi with pleaded eyes, "Now my hard work and invested money is in your hands, Yoongi-ah."

Trying to understand this, Yoongi now starts thinking about something.

"I am not able to digest this matter but if it is a question of your stuck money, then I am ready to sign." Yoongi says while still thinking about something.

Now Jong-ho gets surprised and tries to hug Yoongi, "Really? Thank you Yoon......"

But Yoongi stops him before his action, "Give me that papers, Jong-ho hyung."

After that, without any delay, Jong-ho hands the papers to Yoongi and gets him to sign at every place mentioned.

And as soon as Yoongi has signed the last sign, a shout is heard on both of their ears, "HYUNG................. NO............"

Both of them turn to see Taehyung and Jungkook running towards them. Both have some injuries on their body and face.

Yoongi comes to both of them nervously, "What happened to you both? How did you get hurt like this? Did you two fight with each other?"

"This is not the time to talk about all this, Gi. You didn't sign those papers, right?" Jungkook asks Yoongi hoping.

"Papers?"

Taehyung adds, "The same papers that were in your hand right now and were given by Jong-ho hyung."

"I understood that but..." Yoongi looks at Taehyung confusingly now, "Why are you guys asking if I signed it or not?"

Jungkook continues further, "Jong-ho hyung is trapping you. Don't sign it."

"W-What are you guys saying?"

"He got the papers made in your name and has applied to transfer your land here in his own name. He's out to take over your land, Yoongi hyung." Taehyung explains his hyung without taking a breath in between.

Yoongi is surprised to hear this and his breath becomes lighter, "But... but... he said that... that... those papers were bought by him... of his home......"

Jungkook holds Yoongi by his both arms, "You didn't sign those papers, right? Right, Gi?"

But Yoongi is unable to say anything further, as if he can't hear anything. He just keeps looking at Jungkook with wide eyes.

"Hahaha! It's already signed, Jungkook. Now nothing can happen."

Jungkook and Taehyung turn to see Jong-ho standing there laughing evilly.

There are so many weddings nowadays to attend, buddies. I am not able to find time to update the story on time. It feels like I am the only being called everywhere. 😂
