Aurelio eagerly entered the classroom and found a sandbox on a table in one corner of the room.

He was fascinated by the idea of a sandbox inside,The teacher directed him to play and do whatever he wants. 

Shortly after that a boy showed up with his mother. He clung to her and it was obvious that he was terrified. 

When his mother tried to leave he began crying inconsolably. Aurelio was fiddling with the toy in his hands and looking at the crying child , he felt scared and sad too when his daddy and mama left.

Aurelio went over to him and lift up the toy to show the boy , the boy looked at him and the toy,

" Is okay, take it. Lots of toys there." Aurelio pointed to the corner of the room, the boy took it from Aurelio's hands hesitantly and smiled at him." Thank you." Aurelio nodded.

They looked at each other, smiled at each other. The boy  stopped crying, , Aurelio began excitedly telling him that there was sandbox INSIDE that they could play with.

 The mother's of the boy was thankful for this interaction. Instinctively, this kept the boy distracted long enough for his mother to be able to slip away unnoticed.

Once in the class, The boys  got to their desk, with their own name in it and sat there. Aurelio told him his name, the boy told  his Noah .

 And, that  the beginning of a beautiful friendship.

At the end of the day,  the boys were playing outside waiting for their parents to pick them up,shortly after they got tired from all the running and fun games they did.

They held each other's hand ,  sitting on a bench and waiting for their parents,

" Do you have brothers ?" Aurelio asked his newly friend

" I have a big sister and baby brother. You?"

" I have big brothers, no sister" Aurelio frown but then smile,"but dey cool."

 Aurelio gasped  so relieved to see his daddy's car as it was parked and Alessandro came out. Aurelio ran to him, he picked Aurelio up throwing him up in the air and kissing his cheeks," How was your day buddy?"

" Good, I got friend daddy. His name is Noah." Aurelio said excitedly," I like it daddy."

Alessandro settled Aurelio in his arms as he looked where Aurelio pointed at. He saw a boy same height as Aurelio with brunette hair and green eyes." I'm happy that you have a friend. " Alessandro said ," Let's get  ice cream then home, hmm?"

Aurelio shook his head," I be back. say bye to Noah, daddy.", Alessandro sat Aurelio down as he watched  Aurelio ran to his friend, bidding his bye and hugged each other.

 Aurelio ran back to him and once again Alessandro picked up his baby and walked to his car, opening the back seat door and strapping him into the car seat before kissing his head and getting in the driver seat. They got their ice creams and got back home.

Evelyn cooking dinner and walking around the kitchen,

"Mommy?" Aurelio called his mommy 

"Yes, baby ?" Evelyn said coming out the pantry 

"Where do babies come from?"

"Well, they grow in your belly" Evelyn said glancing at Aurelio who was coloring,

"But how do they get there?" He asked looking at her

"Well, it's a kind of miracle. God starts a seed there and it grows."

Silence.

"Mommy, how does the baby get out? Does it pop out of your belly?"

"No." Evelyn chuckled softly.

"Then how does it get out?" Aurelio asked raising his eyebrows 

"Well, it comes out from your private area."

Silence.

"Mommy?"

"Yes, babe?" Evelyn said sighing 

" I gotta see." 

"Uh, no you don't." Evelyn said shaking her head

"Yes, Mommy,  I gotta see."

"Well, maybe when you're older you can be a doctor and deliver babies."

Silence.

"But that's impossible, I don't even know how to drive!" Aurelio said throwing his hand in the air.

Evelyn threw her head back laughing," You will one day. But don't grow up too fast."

At dinner it was just, Evelyn and Alessandro, Leo , Aurelio. Luca was still in his basketball practice and well Marco is somewhere but here.

Alessandro was reading a story to Aurelio and as he's putting the book down for the night. 

" Daddy? " Aurelio said

Alessandro said tucking in Aurelio , " Yes, buddy?"

" I heard a boy say daddy and papa to two tall men. " Aurelio then continued," If a baby comes from a mommy and a daddy how daddy and daddy get a baby?"

Alessandro chuckled," Adoption, Bud. They can adopt one."

" Oh," Aurelio said 

"so a mommy just yeets her baby? "  Aurelio makes a throwing over his shoulder motion with both hands.

Alessandro belly laughed " well I think it's a very hard decision for the mommy. "

" Are you and mommy throwing me again?" Aurelio said yawning 

Alessandro frowned at his question," What do you mean, bud?"

" Luca said you found me in trash, you took me in. " Aurelio explained 

Alessandro rolled his eyes and kissed Aurelio's head," We never threw you out, bud. Luca just kidding. "

" I can stay forever?" Aurelio asked adorably 

" Of course, even if you  are a grown man. You can always come back here." Alessandro said 

" Okay, I love you daddy." Aurelio said yawning 

" I love you too, Good night." Alessandro said tucking him in and kissing his head, walking out the door room
