Hi loves, it's currently like 12 in the morning, I just got back from a Meghan Trainor concert, and I wanted to finish this so I'd have it ready for tomorrow. But like, can we just take a moment and appreciate Charlie Puth! That boy is like the love of my life and I just saw him live and he also just noticed me on twitter and today was just a good day. (Even though you'll be reading this the day after my concert)
Any ways, don't forget to vote, and comment.

My breath hitched in my throat. I knew who it was, I didn't have to turn around. My palms became sweaty, and my heart started to beat faster.
"Amanda?"
My name lingered in the air once more. I gulped and turned around slowly.
There he was; Jack Wamsley. He was stunningly tan, and his hair was golden, which was odd because it's been nothing but gloomy down here.
He had on a muscle tee, definitely showing off what he worked so hard on all through out high school. He was just as breathless as I had remembered. He flashed me a smile, exposing his pure white teeth.
Oh god, not the smile. Anything but the smile.
"H-hi." I managed to work up.
He chuckled, and ran his hands through his hair.
Jack was my High school crush, all through-out my four years. He knew I liked him, and he always used that as an advantage. Whether it was coming up and sitting next to me at lunch, or him putting his hand around my waist. He knew it made me uneasy; he was continuously playing these games for his own amusements.
"Hey," he started. "I haven't seen you since graduation. What are you doing in Sarton? Aren't you living in Pribridge?"
I shifted on my feet, obviously still shocked by this conversation. "Uh.. yeah, I am."
The air filled with silence, as he just stared at me and I looked at the ground, not wanting to meet his gaze.
"I haven't seen you in a while." He brought up again. "I've seen Casey, but never you. How've you been?"
"You've seen Casey?" I asked puzzled.
"Yeah," he laughed. "She was at this party last week, we chatted. I mentioned you, but she just shrugged it off as if you two weren't friends anymore."
"Were still friends." My voice came out a little smaller than I anticipated
"That's great! But hey, we should hang out sometime. Maybe come to a party of mine?" Jack scratched the back of his neck, "You, and Casey of course, I mean if you want her to come. I'm just in Sarton because of my Grandma. Other than that I've been gone for the past three months on vacation. We just got back two weeks ago. But when I get out of Sarton, and back to Pribridge maybe you can come?"
He was rambling, and I wasn't partially listening after he said he wanted me to come to his house. But my ears hadn't deceived me, Jack Wamsley wanted me to come to one of his parties.
I brushed all these thoughts aside and remembered Harry. I put everything to the back of my mind, then realizing Jack was still there smiling, waiting on an answer. "I uh, .. I have to go, sorry." I said as I grabbed my shoes and pushed past him.
His smile fell and in the distance he shouted, "I'll look you up, that's a promise! You're going to come to my party!" He threw a laugh in with the shouting.
I just turned and gave a weak smile.

I pulled into my driveway to find a smiling Harry on my porch. I giggled to myself, grabbed the food and exited the car. "You sit on everyone porches?" I asked.
"Only the ones I like." He smirked.
"I guess I'm lucky huh?" I said while unlocking the front door.
We entered, and both Harry and I took off our jackets and shoes. We walked to the kitchen and I started to unload the food from the bags.
"Mmm," Harry hummed. "That smells soo good."
He walked over with plates, and sat them in front of us as I warmed the food. After our meals were warm I distributed the food equally and we went into the living room. He put a movie in and I sat with my legs crossed as I began to eat.
"Did you have a nice time in Sarton?" He questioned as he sat next to me.
I didn't know what to say, remembering exactly who I encountered there. I wanted to say no, but then he'd ask why and I'd have to explain. "Yes, I um, had a nice time I guess."
"I must come with you next time then." He smiled.
I kept my focus on the TV, my eyes not moving, "You must."
I didn't have to look at him to know that his lips were curved up into a smirk. Exposing one side of dimples. I was some what glad I wasn't looking at him because if I were that probably would have made me weak in the knees.
We finished eating and Harry helped me clean the dishes. It was only 10:24PM and neither of us wanted to call it a night yet. "Want to go on the trail?"
His eyes lit with curiosity and I knew I had him sold. We prepared ourselves for the night and slipped out the back door. We trudged side by side through my back yard until we reached the mossy, leave covered, dark path.
"So where does this lead?" Harry asked once we got walking.
I smiled "Well you'll see when we get there."
"Do you always come back here? By yourself?"
"Um, I use to, when I needed to get away from my parents."
"Where are your parents by the way? And no lying. You're a terrible liar."
Fuck, why did I choose to go out here.
He stopped in his tracks, and I stopped too, turning to face him.
He had his hands in his pockets, and his eyebrows arched, "Aren't you going to tell me?"
"Harry, I," I sighed, shaking my head, along with running my hand through my hair, and turning to continue the path.
He ran up and stood in front of me, cutting me off from continuing. "I only ask because I care." He looked in my eyes, his green ones piercing mine.
We stood like that staring at each other until I could no longer take it, and looked away while turning and contemplating whether or not if I should tell him.
Fuck it, I thought. I'm tired of lying to Harry.
I didn't face him as I began to talk, "My parents?" I laughed because they shouldn't be able to call themselves parents. "They," I began, "They think of me as the girl who ruined their dreams. They, claimed that it was because of me, that they had to pause their life" My voice cracked and tears rimmed my eyes.
I felt Harry's presence as he neared me. Him placing a hand on my shoulder. "Amanda."
I turned and faced him, his eyes looked sad as they frowned down at me. I laughed, as the tears were still coming, "And you wanna know the funny part? Now since I'm almost 20, I'm legally an adult, which means I can be by myself, which means that they can leave and do what they couldn't for 17 years of their lives." I wiped underneath my eyes, knowing that I probably had smudged mascara and eyeliner. "But it's okay because they send me pictures of them traveling, and them meeting new friends, and them being so utterly happy. So I guess it all works out." I said smiling through the tears I tried fighting back.
Harry stepped closer, and pulled me into a hug. I wrapped my arms around his torso.
He held me tighter, "I'm sorry."
"It's okay," I mumbled into his shirt.
"I know it is," Harry paused. "Because now I'm here."
