Black eyes, Blue tears

Everyone was transported to the organized crime unit and olivia and her daughter were separated for now. Bell had jet watch the young girl while she took olivia to an interrogation room.

Olivia was nervous as she sat there with the unfamiliar woman "w...what's going to happen to me and Evelyn?"

"Well Mrs. Cassidy that is up to you. We have had surveillance on you and your husband for almost a year. His business is quite illegal. You don't participate actively but you do know what he does." Bell started.

Olivia hesitated but nodded "i...I can't say anything else or...or he'll kill me and hurt eve." She said.

"If you keep quiet then your going to prison too and eve will end up in foster care for the rest of her childhood." She threatened mildly at first.

"I..." she looked away from the woman feeling she was judging her "i..I didn't even want to marry him but my mother she promised me to him when I was barely 18. I got pregnant soon after and he threatened to kill me and our unborn child if I ever tried to leave him. I barely know anything about his business."

Bell nodded "that may be true but you do know some and I need you to testify to that and in return you will recieve immunity and we will set you up in an apartment in Manhattan with your daughter."

Olivia was still so terrified. "If Brian sees me testify he'll kill me."

"If you testify he will be going to prison for the rest of his life." Bell replied. "Do this for your daughter if not for yourself." Bell continued.

Olivia hesitated but finally nodded and said "alright....ok." she bit her lip nervous "may i...may I see my daughter now?"

"Once we get your written statement you may see her and we will set you up in a hotel room for now with police protection." Bell finished.

After another 30 minutes olivia was brought back out and eve ran to her. "Mama!"

Olivia hugged her daughter tight not noticing elliot at first. "Everything is OK sweetheart I'm not leaving you." Ahe whispered in her daughters ear. She then seen elliot walk over to them and she froze "Eddie?"

"Actually the names Elliott stabler." He said "I was undercover and I wanted to apologize if I ever made you uncomfortable." He continued.

"Your...your a cop?" She asked.

"A detective Actually." He corrected.

"So...so you were surveilling us?" She asked.

He nodded "yes I was."

Olivia felt terribly self-conscious now "h..how much...did you see?" She asked worried.

"Things I wish I hadn't and I wanted to stop but...I couldn't yet." He said in a sympathetic tone.

"I...I'm sorry you...you must think im...I'm..." she stopped herself remembering her daughter was right beside them.

Bell came over and handed elliot the keys to a hotel room and one of the suv. "Take her to the hotel and get them settled and you take first watch. Another officer will relieve you in about 10 hours or so." She said.

Elliot nodded and led olivia and Eve to the suv. He led them.in to the hotel.room where a bag of clothes for each of them was already waiting along with eve's favorite stuffed animal.

"There is new shower products in the bathroom and the room has been thoroughly cleaned and checked." Elliot said touching her shoulder but watched her flinch away.

"Um...yeah ok...th..thank you" she finally said.

I'll be sitting in the living area and the bedroom is right through that door." He said feeling bad about making her flinch like that but he knew from surveillance that she flinched alot whenever anyone touched her now.

Olivia nodded carrying her sleeping 4 year old in to the bedroom and laying her on one side of the bed. She then slipped in behind her daughter and held her close and kissed her head thankful to still be with her and to be alive for now.
