Brian had actually arrived home at a decent time that night and olivia was just finishing dinner as she heard him come in and eve run to him yelling "daddy!" Excitedly.

Brian barely paid attention to eve and just said "hey sweetie." And walked past her after a slight hug from eve.

"Evie hunny come eat" she said seeing the slight disappointment in her daughters eyes.

Eve walked over and olivia helped her in to her high chair and gave her a bowl of spaghetti.

Brian sighed "spaghetti? So you were obviously feeling lazy today." He said rolling his eyes as he sat at the table.

"No bri. It's evies favorite that's why I made it." She sighed but didn't look at him.

"I expect something better tomorrow." He said in a slightly angry tone.

When he said that it reminded her of what Edward had asked "actually about tomorrow..." she started cautiously "our neighbor Edward wanted to invite us for dinner at his place."

Brian looked at her "Edward? Oh you mean the new guy across the street?"

"Yes" she said sitting down with her meal after serving Brian.

"Alright why not. Hope he's a better cook then you are." He said giving her another insult.

Olivia sighed but didn't want to start a fight in front of eve so she just said "I'm sure he is" she picked at her food not eating much of it. She always felt self conscious eating around Brian cause he liked to make comments about her weight even though she was no where near overweight.

Later that night she put eve to bed and sat in the rocker that was still in her room andwatched her little girl sleep. She promised herself then that she would never make her daughter be with someone she didn't want to and that her daughter would have a better life then she did. As she was rocking and watching her sleep Brian came to the door and whispered "come on I need some time with my wife" he said.

Olivia rolled her eyes but just complied this time not wanting to wake eve or scare her. She left Evelyn's room and went to the bedroom with Brian.

Brian started kissing her neck and sliding her robe away from her body. Olivia knew she shouldn't but she said "bri we have had sex every night this week can we make just...."

"What did I tell you olivia I don't want a fight tonight just be good and enjoy it." He said as he mildly shoved her on to the bed and she just lay back and did as he wanted of her.

Elliot was looking over surveillance of that day and noticed his answering machine had a message on it. He listened and heard Olivia's voice saying they would be at his place for dinner the next night around 8. He couldn't help but feel a little excited to see olivia but he also knew he had to stick to the plan of making friends with Brian even if he despised the man especially after seeing the bruises on olivia that day.
