Rickey was at work so I decided to go to my mom's to see the girls. I walked in and the house was quiet, so the girls must be asleep. Ellie and Sutton were on the living room floor asleep.
"McKenna." They gasped.
"Sorry I should have called." I sighed, looking down at my feet.
"No, honey you know you're always welcome here."
"Where's Soph?"
"Upstairs with Sydney taking a nap." I nodded as Sean came in and smiled at me.
"Hey I missed you."
"Missed you too." She walked over to me hugging me and I held onto her.
"Come on sit down with us." I nodded and sat in the middle of them.
"Is daddy here?" I asked mom.
"No, he and Tommy went to some baseball thing."
"How have you been?"
"I'm getting better. Spending time with the girls is helping."
"And Rickey?" I saw Sean smile at me as I smiled.
"He's been so amazing with everything "
"How are you two?"
"We're doing good, he's been so supportive. He's not pushing me to talk or anything."
"Have you talked about this with him though?"
"Yea."
"Good."
"Anything happen between you two?"
"No. I mean he holds me." I sighed.
"Do you cuddle?"
"Yea and he'll kiss my forehead, but nothing is going on. I'm not ready for that and he knows that."
"It's okay for you to move on though."
"I know, but I'm not ready."
"Is he still with that girl?"
"Yea, but they have been fighting a lot."
"Why?"
"Because he is always helping me. I've tried telling him he doesn't have to be there all the time, but he doesn't listen. I'm happy he's spending all this time with Soph though."
"Mommy." I heard Sophia as she ran down the stairs and ran right to me.
"Hi baby."
"Can I stay with you tonight?"
"Not tonight baby, but I'm staying with you all day. Tomorrow night you are coming to stay with me."
"I want to stay with you more, I don't like staying here."
"I've been talking to daddy about all of this. Tomorrow you and sissy will be moving back with me."
"Yes! Is daddy moving too?"
"No, daddy has his own place."
After spending all day with the girls, Faith was taking me out tonight.
"I much rather spend time with my girls."
"We need to cheer you up, besides you will see them tomorrow." I sighed, nodding my head. There was no fighting with her, so I mine as will just give in. We pulled up to the bar and she dragged into the bar.
"You could have dressed a little nicer."
"I'm not trying to impress anyone."
"I guess."
