Chloe knew how she was trying to do her best for Isla. She knew that her head was all over the place.

She knew that she had agreed not to leave the village so that Isla could get to know her father. But she knew what Warren was mine. And she didn't know if she fully trusted him.

She knew that she was expecting him to try something. And she couldn't help but feel anxious.

Chloe sat in the kitchen with Isla. She looked to her daughter and smiled. She knew how things weren't easy.

"Mummy loves you so much baby girl. I know that things aren't easy. But I promise you, I am going to do all I can to keep you safe. Even if it is against your daddy. It will all be okay," she said. She knew that her head was all over.

She looked to Isla and smiled as her phone dang off of the side. She saw it was Warren and sighed. She knew that she had better things to do than to deal with him and what he wanted.

She knew how he was Isla's father. She knew how none of it was easy. And she knew that she wanted to be the best mum to Isla that she could be.

Chloe knew that as much as she disliked Warren right now, that she couldn't do this. She knew that she couldn't let Warren take Isla from her. And she had to play nice as long as she possibly could.

Chloe was walking through the village as she saw Warren. "I have been calling you."

"I was busy with Isla," she said.

Warren nodded. "And how is my girl?" he asked as he picked Isla up.

"She's fussy. She's got a temperature," Chloe said.

Warren frowned. "Have you taken her to the doctor?"

"They say it's a virus," Chloe told him.

Warren nodded. "I know what you think of me. I know what I have done. But why don't I look after her for a few hours. And you can have a break," he said.

"I'm okay Warren," she said

Warren looked to her and sighed. "I know that you are. Look we need to trust that we aren't going to rush off with her. And we have to try and get along. I am her dad. I want to spend some time with her," he said.

Chloe nodded. "Okay. I'm trusting you. Don't let me down. And only for a few hours," she said as he smiled.

Chloe looked up as Charlee walked into the flat. "I saw Warren in the park with Isla. You're trusting him?" She asked.

Chloe looked to her sister and smiled. "I'm trying too. I know what he has done. But he is her father. And I do want her to know her dad. I can't carry on with the fear that he'll take her all of the time. We need to try," she told her.

Charlee smiled. "As long as you know what you're doing," she said as Chloe smiled.

Hoping that she did know what she was doing. And that it would all be okay.
